Amazing hotel and staff , like a home from home. Great value and quality , stayed here several times this year and the staff go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable . The pub downstairs is one of the best in area. Won’t find better . Will be back soon

Exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and cosy. Staff were helpful and friendly. We brought 2 dogs with us and they had beds set up for them plus bowl-ful of treats. Most hotels we stayed charged extra for pets but they nothing was offered to make them feel welcomed. Lots of lovely restaurants and walks nearby and plenty of parking outside. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

This is a wonderful pub with rooms. Great facilities including two bars, lovely outside area, restaurant and gorgeous rooms. What is really outstanding is the staff, they could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. The food was great as well. Standard of accommodation was excellent.

The rooms were homely, comfortable and amenities good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were enjoyable and well presented in pleasant surroundings. I was unable to accommodate some members of my family for a get together with a Sister and Niece from Australia so chose the Bulls Head near my home as a homely alternative. Certainly not disappointed. Would definitely book again.

Huge bed. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent toiletries. Friendly welcoming staff. Only one negative. Only one large towel and no reply from reception when I called to ask for another one. It was my daughters 40th. Great venue for party.

Overall the stay was nice, lovely staff and a comfy bed. The main reason for not getting a 5 was how hot the room was and the window unable to stay open, I was swealtering! The room could do with a refresh and it was above the function room that you could hear, although only until about 10ish.

Had the most wonderful stay. Family event in evening and overnight stay in luxurious en suite rooms. The quaint restaurant where we had our breakfast was beautiful and the food sourced locally and delicious. All staff were most helpful prior to booking and also on arrival and stay. Will most certainly return in the summer and can enjoy the garden experience as well.
