My family of five couples spent our last night in France at this wonderful Chateau/Hotel. The hotel staff and restaurant staff we wonderful and very patient with ten Americans who tried to speak "bad French"! We all agree that we wish we would have stayed with them for several more nights. My wife and I stayed in a attic room that was very delightful! The pool was quite refreshing and the pool side service was spot on! Our evening meal at the Hotel's restaurant was one of the best we had on our 25 days in France!

What a unique experience staying here! We rented the room made in a cave! It was super cool! A beautiful castle! The breakfast was so yummy! The front desk and dining staff are all super welcoming and friendly!

Herrliches Schloss in ursprünglichem Zustand. Im Zimmer fühlte man sich ins Mittelater zurückversetzt. Sehr freundliches Personal beim checkin.

Un château reste un château dans le nom ..... Inutile de chercher les avantages d un hôtel moderne !!! Pour une chambre de milieu de gamme : literie assez raide, clim tout de même !! Salle de bains "Rustique" ... Pas de TV dans la chambre . Il est difficile de passer les câbles dans les châteaux , c est clair mais les ajouts de triplettes , les radiateurs assez abimés notamment dans les wc , ne font ils pas partie des prestations de qualité recherchées dans ce type d établissement ??? Quelques petits détails à régler je pense car le personnel est réellement à l écoute et très aimable. Petit déjeuner un peu cher pour avoir un miel dans son emballage de grande surface et les viennoiseries en options ... Dîner de bonne qualité et Site très joli

We so looked forward to our stay but our trip was interrupted by a robbery and loss of passports and credit cards. We immediately contacted the US Embassy and cancelled all remaining reservations. When contacting this Chateau, 2 different times, we were told that no refunds would be given. The cancellation request was days before date of arrival. We did not change our minds, we had no way to even pay for the stay! Very disappointing

Tres bel accueil dans un chateau bien entretenu.
Endroit calme pour se ressourcer et se reposer.
L'ensemble du personnel est à notre écoute et surtout d'une bienveillance agréable.
Très bonne table pour diner pour un prix plus que correct. Pas la peine de chercher un restaurant ailleurs.

très très beau château, un bâtiment rare qui a lui seul mérite le détour, c est un vrai très grand château , j avais une chambre supérieure, elle venait d'être refaite, plutôt convenable, très grande avec une grande salle de bain toute neuve avec douche l italienne, par ailleurs se ballader dans le bâtiment est très interessant, un peu plus loin que notre chambre au deuxième étage une petite chapelle, puis un escalier donne sur ce qui était la salle de garde;
je conseille vivement ce château en hotel par contre le restaurant, a éviter le service est complètement nul, 3 personnes, dont deux qui n ont aucun sens du service, l une coure de table en table, vous avez l
impression d être a la cantine, il faut dire qu il manque du personnel, tant que la restauration n est pas prise en main il faut éviter, si je dois noter l hotel, je donnerais 8/10, car le château se chissay vaut qu on le choisisse, la retauratio. 6/10 en qualité de repas et 1/10 en service de table

Disappointing. I wanted this to be so much more. What an experience to stay in a chateau, however on arrival we found our room to be a converted old stable detached from the chateau overlooking the pool. Straight away I started sneezing and the room had such a stale dusty smell. I took medication but ended up requesting a room change. After agreeing to an extra 45E per night we checked into a much larger two-bedroom room (rm 18). There really is nothing special about these rooms, the furniture is basic and the finishes seem cheap. Far from luxurious. Black mould in the bathroom/toilet was noted. Don't leave the window open in the toilet as it will fill with bugs! A simple room diffuser could help with the smell. The restaurant dinner was very nice but for the price, it was nothing I would rave about. The menu doesn't change so you will want to go somewhere for the next night anyway. The buffet breakfast for the 19E was also a letdown. To think that you had to pay more for a real coffee. The pool and grounds were lovely. Overall, it was an experience to stay in a chateau but they need to do more as it can't just rely on the beauty of an old building.
