Very good hotel for families. Great location. great waterpark. Only disappointed is cleaning in public areas.

Very nice hotel,good buffet with nice variety.The staff in the hotel are very friendly. Close to the sea, awesome seaview from balcony.

Although beach not accessible hotel was not bad all inclusive was great!

Very good hotel, beautiful location with stunning view.. not to mention how helpful and kind the staff are especially Harry who helped us out during our stay… there is mutual bars they you can go to within the hotel with is amazing. 016 was amazing room with a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean 😍

This hotel is definitely recommend. The rooms are clean, the staff are nice and the pool and the views are just amazing! Me and my boyfriend visited for our anniversary and we stayed in room number 016, the room had such a nice view of the swimming pool and sea in the distance. The food is also very nice, good selection of food. There are also many bars around the hotel. We asked for our room to be extended and they was very helpful and did everything possible to ensure we had a great stay.

Me and my family have just finished a 10 day holiday at the King Evelthon and had an amazing time. We came as a family of 4. Firstly, the entertainment staff are the highlight of the holiday. David, Alex and Sally are absolutely amazing and made our holiday 10 times better. They brought us all together as a family for activities such as aqua-gym and darts. Bingo every night was a laugh and ensured that everyone was involved. Alex and Sally always remembered our names and made conversations whenever they saw us. They are the main reason we are hoping to return later on in the year. The restaurant always had a variety of food options to cater for everybody. I’m a fussy eater and always found something to eat. Breakfast got slightly repetitive each morning. The deserts were varied and always had something for everyone. The hotel also has many specialised restaurants such as the greek, Italian and Mexican. We visited all of these and would definitely recommend the Italian on the rooftop bar. The room itself was lovely and clean. The beds are only made everyday, not changed. The safe is easy enough to work and everything is clearly explained in the instructions. On arrival, little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion are left near the sink in the room. The room has a hairdryer available to use. The only downside to the room was the fridge was always too cold and had ice at the back and not many coat hangers in the wardrobe. Other than that, cannot fault it overall. The water park is okay, not something that could entertain people for a whole day. Slides were very quiet when we went which was a bonus, very easy to get a sunbed. The water park also has a large pool on the other side which is always empty which is positive if the main pool is busy. The main pool was great, just had slight amounts of sand in the bottom but other than that it was fine. Although on our last day it was closed for cleaning around 3:45 ish and was not open for the rest of the day. Sunbeds around the main pool are quickly taken quite early on in the morning. Some umbrellas need pins but can be got from the pool attendant. The reception staff and some waitressing staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there! But that was in the minority and didn’t impact our experience. There is always live entertainment in the ballroom on floor 0. From Cher tribute acts to party dances to finish off the night. The onsite shop is extremely expensive so would recommend bringing things such as suncream with you. There are a few things you notice when walking around the hotel but nothing extreme that could ruin the holiday. We were unsure about our stay after seeing many bad reviews but so glad we came and have had the best time! I would definitely recommend experiencing it for yourself before changing due to the bad reviews.

I don’t normally do reviews but after reading the awful reviews left about this hotel I felt it was only fair to write about our experience, to make sure others don’t have the same build up and panic that we did. The build up to the holiday was awful, mainly due to the awful reviews left by others who had been before us. I enquired about cancelling but it was too close to travel date. I’m so glad we didn’t though, when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. I can honestly say I couldn’t find many faults with this place at all and we’ve just had a lovely 10 days there. We have recently done 5* Turkey holidays which were out of this world, whilst this wasn’t quite that it was still brilliant and we’ve had a lovely time. Food and drinks were really good, cleanliness of the rooms were all absolutely fine, the entertainment was good, possibly could have had different activities each day but they weren’t too overbearing and pushy to join in like some resorts. We had a lovely sea view from our balcony which was a surprise and added bonus. The waterpark opposite was great for the kids, the only downside being all inclusive only on soft drinks, you had to pay for alcohol and premium ice creams which were better selection than hotel. The pool was cloudy on our first day but we mentioned to jet2 rep and seemed a lot better after that. Last day it was cloudy again but we stayed for 10 days and was fine majority of the time. This didn’t ruin our holiday though. There is no beach directly outside hotel which was fine for us but we walked to Venus beach one day which was lovely. Sunbeds there and parasols really cheap. The a la carte restaurants were lovely. We did Greek and Italian and was loved by all the family, plenty for kids. We ate out a few nights too, Theo’s at the harbour which was amazing (bit pricy but worth it), Fat Mamas (owners were great, food options huge and kids loved it there), Sea You beach bar for our last night where we watched the amazing sun set, this was a fab ending to our holiday. Please don’t worry about this hotel if you are going, we had a fab time and we have pretty high standards. You make what you want out of your holiday, go and enjoy yourself!

David, Jessica, Sally, Alex and Demi were amazing entertainment staff and made the holiday worth it. Brought the whole family together for activities every day. The best part of the trip when other aspects were subpar. They deserve all the praise they get!
