We spent 3 nights in this dream hotel. Of course, there are some imperfections but I won't even talk about them as they are of little importance compared to everything that we found exceptional in this lodge. First of all, the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everything is done to please, the attention is permanent and discreet. It begins with the pick-up on the quay at the border when we arrive from Botswana, continues with the singing and percussion of around ten people when we get off the boat then throughout the stay, until we leave where we are. escorted back to the pontoon with lots of thanks and smiles. Next, the kitchen. We absolutely did not expect this impressive level, beauty of presentations and everything is delicious. The chef, originally from Zimbabwe, is very talented. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are a delicious time. They are taken in a superb room with very careful decoration. The materials and objects are beautiful, the lighting is incredible... and this is true for the entire hotel which offers several indoor or outdoor spaces to relax in different atmospheres. For lunch we were also offered to have lunch on the terrace, it was very pleasant. The view of the river and Chobe Park in the distance is magnificent from all outdoor spaces and from the rooms. We were in room number 16 which is accessed by a large suspension bridge which adds to the charm. It has a large bathroom with bathtub and shower, the toilets are separate. The room is a very good size, with a bed that must be 2 meters wide, a sofa, an armchair, a desk and a piece of furniture that contains something to make Nespresso coffees, tea, a minibar stocked with alcohol, mineral water, soda. Snacks are also included in the room price. A huge bay window opens onto a large terrace with 2 deckchairs and 2 pretty benches. Everything is in good taste. The view is incredible. In the morning, as all the rooms face east, you can see the sun rising, giving magnificent colors to the water and Chobe Park. Finally, the activities offered and included in the reservation are great, 4/4 safari in Chobe park, and especially long walks at the end of the day on the river with the adorable Gilbert who takes care of his clients and does everything to please . Finally I must add that many drinks are included in the price, soft drinks but also alcohol. Several wines are offered and they are very good. A complementary bar at an additional cost is available but we did not need it. We drank Martini, Gin, wine… and Amarula, kindly offered at the end of the meal, this local alcohol is very similar to Baileys. Just a word about the beautiful and large swimming pool which borders the garden facing the river. It wasn't hot
