Booked this hotel so I could rest and freshen up before my wee hour flight. This is NOT the hotel chain I was thinking of when I booked it, but the room was spacious, clean, and served its purpose. The location is about 30 - 40 min car ride from all the tourist attractions with limited food options available. The free 15-minute airport transfer was via a van. I was a bit surprised when I had to squeeze with other passengers who were dropped off at different hotels before the driver sent me to the airport. This was due to my late/ early flight timing.

The environment is comfortable and clean. There are parks and large shopping malls nearby. There are convenience stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and places to eat downstairs. The transportation is also convenient. There is a subway station not far away.

Chongqing is really cold this season. I caught a cold. I stayed in the city for several days but the air conditioning didn't work. I caught a plane the next day and found a newly opened hotel nearby. The new air conditioning was really good. The environment was also good. It had everything you need. It was very clean. The front desk was also very friendly. There was a shopping mall downstairs, which was very convenient. I will choose this hotel next time. Another thing to say is that you should bring a thick down jacket before coming. It is really cold.
