I would say just book it. An excellent stay with super helpful staff. They go an extra mile to help you sort your problems as a foreigner. I had absolutely no complaints with this hotel. I was sceptical about the location initially but then it's still well located. Happy staying!

When we first arrived at the hotel in Chongqing, we could tell it was going to be a good experience. It was one of the hotels we stayed at during our trip and it really stood out because of its good price, nice location, being very clean, and having great service. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly. The people who welcomed us, the ones who helped us check in quickly, and the people who cleaned our room made us feel very special. They were all very kind and paid attention to the little things, which made our stay very nice. We really enjoyed the food from room service too. There were many tasty choices that were more delicious than we expected. Eating these meals made our time at the hotel even better. Our room was high up and had an amazing view of Chongqing. This made our stay even more special. We chose a room for smokers, but the air in our room was still fresh because the air system worked really well. The hotel was in a great place for getting around the city. There was a metro station close by which was very handy. For those visiting, we suggest using Didi for getting around because it's cheap and taxis find it easy to get to the hotel. The hotel looked really nice too, including the lobby and all the areas we saw. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of different foods from both Western and Eastern styles. It was great to have so many choices. Also, it was helpful that some of the hotel staff could speak English, which we didn't find everywhere. They even had robots helping out, which was really cool and modern. This hotel in Chongqing had lots of great points like excellent service and cleanliness. It's a really good choice in Chongqing for anyone looking for a place that offers a good deal, great service, cleanliness, and a convenient location. We're very thankful to everyone there for making our visit a good one, and we would happily stay there again.

Weird that was not possible to change Temperature in aircon. So room hot all the time. For what I saw I think there are better options nearby.

The service of this hotel impressed me even they are not a 'famous' chain hotel. I rarely meet a real good service in a hotel of 5-star in China but this one owns only 4-star. The location is perfect in a walking distance we can go to hongyadong etc. I will come again.

I chose Hanwen Hotel when I came to Chongqing for the second time. The hotel lobby is very grand. The front desk was very enthusiastic and helped us upgrade the river view room. When we opened the curtains, we could see the Jialing River. The transportation was also convenient and close to the subway station. The bus was right in front of the hotel. There were free drinks in the refrigerator in the room, and a lot of fruits and Tremella soup were given. The hotel facilities are very complete, with a swimming pool, gym, breakfast and steak.

The hotel is located in the city center of Yuzhong District, convenient for taxis, and public transportation is a distance away from the subway station, about 700 meters, which takes 7 or 8 minutes to walk.

Chongqing is a good place. The hotel room is nice. The surrounding is very lively and close to the pier. You can see Qiansimen Bridge from the room. We went to Hongyadong, played in Raffles, and took a night cruise on the Yangtze River.
