Lianjie Boutique Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Yangtze River Ropeway) Reviews

I was not very impressed with this hotel. The towels were unraveling and had holes in them and the pillows had yellow stains. There was marks on the bed post. I asked the receptionist for better towels and to change the pillows, which they did. The carpet in the corridor was filthy and I felt really gross walking to my room. There were no bath mat, which was a bit dangerous to get out of the shower with wet feet. The shower was hot enough and the stream of water was strong. I found some hair in the sink and the sink was loose and cracked. The hotel definitely needs some renovation. The location if the hotel is conveniently situated across the Jianfangbei cable car and within walking distance of Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and Huguang Guildhall.

The hotel was in a great location and there was a water refill station in the lobby. Unfortunately the hotel is dated, the rooms are advertised as having windows when in fact they are up against a brick wall, the hallway smelled like wet dog, and the room often had a musty or smoky smell as well. There was no way to indicate if you didn’t want the room cleaned because the do not disturb was powered by electricity that went out when you took your room key with you. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good size but it was the least favorite of the 4 hotels we stayed at in China.

Amazing location, very central. Can walk to the major attractions and close to subway station. The room is okay the bed is comfortable. Nice towels and makeup area. Shower is big and relatively clean. They give little toilet paper. The WiFi is not good. Otherwise one of our favorite hotels we stayed at because it was quite big and a very good location.

The hotel is in a very good location. It's just opposite to the Xiao shizi station Exit 5B. The room is comfy. The bad thing is the smoking smell. It comes from the corridor and even from the toilet. We stayed at the back of the hotel so it's quite quiet.

Poor attitude staffs. I booked for 3 persons but there are only 2 towel and bottle of water. Front staff said he can just listen my complain but cannot even find a towel or water for me.

It was too loud in the place. I could hear every little noise besides the fact that they had a renovation happening next door so I was woken up multiple times in the morning. The location is good and the staff is nice. The room without a window should not be used for hosting people, especially with the noises next door. You feel like you’re in a box. I’m happy I was able to change my booking, otherwise the trip would be ruined.

Hotel photo not same what it’s showed and only location convenient

The room is in a good location opposite metro station on line 1 and the cableway station. The staff were friendly and the room was quiet. However the room was swarmed with mosquitos (the small kind you can’t hear) and they just seemed to keep appearing even after we squashed them. I guess they were coming through the vents. Was ok for one night but wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

Superb location, It's a good place for a short term staycation especially if you are on a tight budget, so don't expect much because it's cheap, it's brings value to your money 😀 as the location, price and what you get vs what you pay is really good. The only downside is the elevator leading to the hotel (the hotel is on the 2nd floor) is dirty, and some of the furniture like chairs in the rooms have seen their days. Kudos to the hotel stuff, lovely people willing to help you with anything, from ordering food, showing you the nearest covid testing sites and recommending good places to visit.

Simple hotel with basic amenities and very close to the metro station

The room is not so clean. The walls and floor of the bathroom need to be scrubbed. I couldn't sleep because people's smoke from the other rooms filtered through the ac and door. The staff are nice.

The place offers an excellent value for money. Location is excellent and service is good. Not luxurious at all but clean and comfortable

The environment and location are very good. I am very satisfied that it is opposite the Yangtze River Cableway. I will stay here next time I come to Chongqing. The lady at the front desk is very gentle. Thank you, thank you. I will come again next time

First, the hotel does not have a washing machine service, which I only found out after I checked in, and the platform did not explain what facilities were available. I had to spend extra time and energy to find alternatives, which seriously affected my stay experience, and some facilities were broken. Second, the condition of the room was seriously inconsistent with the pictures on the website. I thought I would enjoy a warm and comfortable space, but the actual room facilities were old and compact, which was very different from the description on the website. This "selling dog meat under sheep's head" practice made people feel disappointed and deceived. Finally, the sound insulation of the room was extremely poor. I could clearly hear the conversations of people in the corridor outside, which seriously affected my rest and privacy. One of the basic functions of a hotel is to provide guests with a quiet rest environment, but this hotel obviously did not do this. Overall, I was very disappointed with this stay experience. I hope the hotel can take these issues seriously and take measures to improve them to ensure that future guests can enjoy better services and facilities.
