Mercure Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei

Hotels of French brands are just wonderful. The location is fantastic, right near Jiefangbei. The young lady at the front desk was warm and attentive, upgrading us to a river-view room and even treating us to fruits and milk. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast was exceptionally lavish. Extremely satisfied!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location with views of the Jiefangbei from the room. Being on a high floor also helps to muffle the street noise below. Step right outside the hotel and you're in the food street. The service is very attentive; when other guests were being noisy in the middle of our second night, the hotel stepped in immediately after we reported it to quiet them down, and even proactively offered us a room upgrade the next day.

1️⃣ **Unbeatable Location for Everything You Need** Located in the most bustling area of Jiefangbei, it's just a 5-minute walk to Jiefangbei itself. Downstairs, you'll find the Bayi Snack Street, offering delicious and affordable food. Whether you're heading to Hongyadong for a visit or to the subway station for a transfer, everything is incredibly close, saving you time and effort. 2️⃣ **Stunning Night Views from the 35th-Floor Lobby** The hotel lobby is situated on the 35th floor, providing expansive views. It's perfect for photos during the day, and at night, the views are even more spectacular, making for fantastic pictures. 3️⃣ **Thoughtful Breakfast Service for a Relaxed Morning** The biggest highlight is that breakfast can be extended until 11 AM! This is incredibly friendly for travelers who don't want to rush in the morning. The breakfast spread is quite varied, offering good value for money, and you'll see quite a few international guests, adding to the cosmopolitan atmosphere.

The room's cleanliness was decent. Since it was the Golden Week holiday, the value for money was a bit low. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs is Bayi Food Street, and it's very close to Jiefangbei, making it convenient to visit nearby attractions on foot. The hotel staff were very friendly.

The room was clean, and the high floor offered great views. Breakfast was also good. The hotel is right next to the pedestrian street, which was very convenient. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay.
