Friendly & helpful front office

The staff were friendly and check in was smooth. There are countless places to eat great Sichuan food downstairs and across the street the outdoor eating places get pretty lively. The hotel itself was very cheap so expectations were not high. The bed and bathroom were both ok but the carpeted floor was disgusting. Stained and filthy, I don’t know that it has ever been vacuumed. I was wearing slippers and my feet still felt like they were getting dirty. At one point I dropped something on the floor and, as I bent down to pick it up, I got a glimpse under the bed. Cigarette butts and countless unidentifiable objects. Just filthy.
