This hotel is right in front of Hongyadong. Excellent location. They have robots to deliver your take out order up to your room. Really cool. The breakfast is superb. Everyday their menu is different. I stayed for 4 nights so I can prove it. Get a room with breakfast. It is really worth it. The room is spacious and clean. They have free laundry at the 28th floor. Awesome! The only downside is the hotel doesn’t have space in front to drop off or pick up guests. Taxi have hard time dropping or picking up during peak hours.

The hotel is located in the net red scenic area - Hongyadong folk customs area. It is located on the city balcony on the 11th floor of the scenic spot. It has all kinds of exquisite guest rooms; Sleeping on the cliff", feel the unique and strong charm of Bayu culture.

This hotel location is superb considering that it is situated right in Hongyadong itself. It is also the first hotel in my years of travel whereby the reception is at the highest floor and we have to take the elevator down to our room. Imagine how unique is that. Room is spacious too and the view is splendid. Cleanliness can definitely be improve slightly but overall is a very good hotel.

The room is generally satisfactory, enough for two families with children to travel, four rooms! The location is OK! You can see the scenery! There are scenic spots around, and the prices and food are self-evident, the same routine across the country! Although there is a kitchen, the gas stove is not easy to use, there is no microwave, and there is a rusty pot! The corners of the bathroom are a little cracked and moldy. The living room is a projection, but the screen is made of lime, not a white curtain. If you watch TV during the day, you must draw the curtains! The scenery outside the window is still very nice!

The location is very close to the subway station, and it is very convenient to walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyakou. The room is great, located on the top floor 41st floor, with a great night view. Although the large bathtub cannot be used in winter (there is hot water but the water is too slow to soak in it 🤪), it is beautifully decorated and comfortable. There is a music bar next to it, but the soundproofing is very good and it won't be noisy. In addition, you can check in by entering the password, and check out is also very convenient. Highly recommended!

Very convenient location with the ”touristy” places being within walking distance. It's located at the 9th floor of the 'New Chongqing Apartment (新重庆公寓)' next to the ICBC bank. If you're a foreign tourist, it's easier to find it through its Chinese/Pin Yin name using GPS (Chi Shan / 吃山). Was also very close to Hong Ya Dong, Liberation Monuments, etc.
The only scary thing would be the ground floor of the building because the lobby is kind of worn out but once you reach the 9th floor where Yummyhill/Chishan is located, it's alright. There were 4 really cute and affectionate cats which we loved a lot (especially the white one!! but the tabby one was also really cute). The staff were all friendly and courteous which we really appreciated.
On the 9th floor, there is also a rooftop garden that was nice to explore. Room was decently clean and all the necessary amenities provided were sufficient. There is also a common area where you can eat & meet other people!
The only downside was that the dryer didn't really work effectively because our clothes were still kind of moist after drying it at top heat for 40 minutes. However this is not too big of an issue & we'd love to come back and stay here again when we come back to Chongqing some day. Thank you!

This was literally my first ever hotel stay in China. I managed to find their WeChat, which made communication very easy, otherwise, trip.com has made it very easy, with accommodation addresses in both English and local language (Chinese in this case).
The building this hotel is in is interesting. It’s made up of commercial shops including many hotels. For example, the reception of this hotel actually serves two different hotels. There are many other hotels within the building too.
The hotel is located right smack in the middle of Jiefang bei, which is the touristic center of Chongqing. There is no better location in my opinion. There is a metro station is right smack in front of the building, 10m away. The location literally cannot be beat.
Check-in was seamless, and you can add the reception on WeChat — they are very responsive and even proactive. This is a new thing that I have never seen before, but it seems like each hotel room in China have their own wifi modem, so each room has a different password. The reception sent it to me without even me prompting (or realizing).
For some reason, Chongqing was hot as balls when I visited, so every evening a good long soak at the bathtub was a godsend. The room itself was not huge, but spacious enough whereby it felt as though there was more space than there really was. Bed was also super duper comfy, where I slept extremely well on.
For this location at this price, honestly, this place cannot be beat.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Go downstairs to the Bayi Food Street, turn left to Jiefangbei, and turn right to the subway entrance for Lines 1 and 2. What's rare is that in a lively and prosperous place like Jiefangbei, there is currently only one hotel in the building. The elevators in the high-rise areas can be used separately. There are many elevators, so there is almost no need to wait. Although it was very lively downstairs, the room was very quiet and your rest was not affected. The kids at Storm Spa said it was very interesting. The butler service is so considerate, 24 hours a day, and the service attitude is super good, especially the orange butler, if I remember correctly. They actively help solve any needs and problems. Although there are delays during busy times, the attitude and service are really good. I was a little uncomfortable entering the hotel at first because it was dark overall.
A few suggestions: 1. First-time guests who have just arrived on the 58th floor don’t know where the front desk is. I hope there will be a more obvious sign. 2. The content of high-altitude afternoon tea is fixed, which is a bit boring for guests who stay for multiple days. A variety of package options are available. In addition, I hope that the tea in the afternoon tea can be changed or provide a variety of choices. The tea tastes very strange and I am not used to it. In fact, ordinary black tea or breakfast tea will do. 3. The Ono voice control in the room is not that sensitive, and the curtain is not very flat, so the viewing effect is not very good.
No other issues. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserAfter experiencing the excitement of the city and the Internet celebrity feeling in Chongqing, I happened to search for Pucun! Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!
GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.
JJMValue for money. Service is great. Location is also pretty decent, lots food places nearby.
Will definitely consider staying here again the next time we are back!
JJangusFor this price, you get a large room with amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the 重庆 cityscape. The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.
DDominic EngOur 2 duplex suites are located on the 35&36 floor respectively with a great panorama view of the rivers. There's a great food court and the #5 line metro station located in the basement- making the hotel easy to reach and excellent for any kind of travelers. Hotel is walking distance to the Jiefangbei Square, the Raffles Square; and close to many local attractions and restaurants. The suites are clean and well appointed; one even included a treadmill and an exercise bike. We highly recommend the hotel for family and business travelers. We will definitely stay here again for our future Chongqing visits 👍👍👍👍👍
GGuest User10/10!! This hotel is located right at the heart of Jiefangbei, making it super convenient to access the various attractions/tourist spots (they’re all quite nearby via taxi). Lots of food just around the area and shopping too! The room itself is huge and the staff were so kind to give us a free upgrade. There’s so much space to open our luggage and lounge around. The toilet is also very clean and spacious. Not to mention the gorgeous view since the hotel is on the 46th floor - you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Chongqing from the room! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend!!
SSharonHad a lovely 6-nights stay at the hotel, which was at a very strategic location in the heart of the city. Also, the hotel provided delicious noodle options for the daily complimentary breakfast, which could be redeemed at any point of the day. Hotel staff were generally pleasant and we would like to give a special shoutout to the front desk staff No 3, who went all out to help us hail a cab as we had trouble getting one on that Friday night due to the huge crowd and road closure on golden week. Very appreciative of her actions! thank you once again. Would return to this hotel if we visit Chongqing again!
GGuest UserTo be honest, the price of machine room 1288 is really a bit expensive, the hotel facilities are relatively old due to the long time of decoration. The hotel's meal price is not very friendly, and the first time I saw the hotel, I could not bring my own wine and takeaway. Eating is charged by the head, drinking tea is also, to be honest, in addition to the environment is good, other really... I like this hotel very much, I will choose to stay in the future.
SSarie BottWOWOWOWOOW location could not be better! Directly across from Raffles and the horizontal hotel towr on the waterfront. Bathtub room has an incredible view. Modern, industrial design. Massive bathtub. Soft mattress. Excellent service. My only notes would be to add some towel or robe hooks in the bathroom and to give a tag for the door if you want room service or ”do not disturb”. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I ever come to Chongqing again.
CChenwenjingI renewed my reservation. It is very close to Chongqing West Railway Station, 3.4 km away, and 1 km away from the three subway stations of Shangqiao, Fengxi, and Fengmingshan. It is 4.5 km away from Shapingba District Railway Station. The hotel is in the community, with teahouses, hot pot restaurants, rice noodles, pork trotter rice, Internet cafes, supermarkets, and milk tea shops. The hotel is clean, large, and affordable, with thoughtful service and the boss is easy to talk to. It is available on call. All requests can be met. Washing machines, clothes drying racks, wardrobes, sofas, and cooking areas are all available. Cainiao and ** shopping points are all very close, all in the community. I will book again in Chongqing in the future.
