The location of the hotel is very good, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and the Wanxianghui shopping mall is next to it. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and the customer service attitude is very good. The room is spacious and bright, clean and tidy, with complete facilities. It also comes with a fruit plate and a rich breakfast. It is a good choice for business travel. Apart from being expensive, the May Day holiday hotel has no disadvantages.

Two big and two small, very comfortable to live, each room in the suite has a table and chair, bath warm and water is large. The Awei powder shop opposite the hotel, the supermarket and fruit shop next to the powder shop bought Chongzuo specialties, mung bean cakes are too delicious (one yuan, it feels too delicious after eating, hurry up to take the packaging, convenient for online shopping in the future), water and milk are also mellow.
Hanlin Night Market near the hotel, ate sour oysters (more delicious than Nanning), drank sugar water, and oysters. There are too many snacks to eat.

Very satisfied with this stay! I didn't expect the hotel to be so beautiful! So clean and quiet! We checked in at night, and the front desk staff was very polite and patient in answering questions, and guided us upstairs and helped us guide the car to the parking lot. Breakfast was also provided free of charge to our children. The service attitude was really great! Next time I travel, I will definitely choose to stay here again and will recommend it to my friends!

The room is very large, it is the largest hotel in the same situation as my National Day trip. Directly improve the goodwill. The mattress is Xilinmen. The pillow is a flat pillow that is more like the head at home. Very good to sleep. I have lived in many hotels. The five-star hotel pillows are very drummed. Every time I sleep on this pillow, I feel like I have to push me away, not let me sleep on the pillow, and I can't sleep at all. I have no special expectations for going out to sleep in a hotel, until the hardware of this hotel makes me feel thoughtful and the environment is quiet. There is welcome milk for check-in and a small gift for check-out. It is simply a paradise-level hotel. The favorability has doubled.

The hotel is an old star hotel with a large parking lot and charging parking spaces. Although the room is old, it does not lose its star level. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. There are few plugs. If you have many electronic devices, remember to bring a power *****. There are many choices for breakfast, and the location is in the new district close to the Zhuang Museum, but they only open at 10 o'clock. Taiping Ancient City belongs to the old city, with more convenient dining, and the new area is quieter.

 The room in the hotel is large and can accommodate six people at the same time. There is still a lot of space for the five of us. Very scenic spots can be reached in 15 minutes near the hotel. The most worthwhile thing to visit in Equan is that the people in Jingxi are very enthusiastic. We also went into Jiuzhou, it was very beautiful.

At night, the starry sky is so bright that it seems like you can touch the stars with your hand, making people forget the troubles of the city.
Accommodation experience:
Because there happened to be a typhoon, the hotel upgraded us to a luxurious king-size bed with a private pool. The interior of the room is elegantly decorated yet warm, and the facilities are complete and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Every morning, the chirping of birds awakens the sleeping soul, and in the evening, the sunset viewed from the balcony is even more beautiful. The staff are also very welcoming, thank you for taking care of me.
Catering services:
The restaurants in the resort provide organic seasonal vegetables. Although they are not as exquisite as those in big hotels, they are nutritious and healthy. The ingredients are fresh, the farm tofu is also handmade, the eggs and duck eggs are all native, the vegetables are grown by ourselves, and the local specialty dish, sour porridge and duck, is an extraordinary experience.
Activities and Entertainment:
There are currently not many activity options, only parent-child craft classes. I hope that the hotel can develop more original nature-integrated activity experiences in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in December 2023, but regretted that our schedule did not allow us to stay longer. The Hua Lu Hotel is a charming boutique hotel located in the Ming Shi village that features clusters of needle mountains that aggressively protrude from what otherwise appears to be a level agricultural plain. The origins of the village were for its farming potential but the stunning beauty of the location has popularized it as a tourist haunt, a place to visit either before or after checking out the Detian Waterfall on the China-Vietnam border. In among the locals’ modest houses, several B&Bs and hotels have sprouted to cater to tourists wanting a wide spectrum of accommodations from the extremely basic up to relatively high-end resorts.
The Hua Lu (Lost in Nature) is best categorized as a high-end boutique hotel. It is situated on the eastern periphery of Ming Shi well away (approximately a kilometer) from a busy highway around which many of its competitors are clustered. The accent at the Hua Lo is on tranquility. Our room was a well-conceived suite that had been furnished with a Zen sensibility. The bathroom featured an oversize bathtub and separate shower unit, and there was a spacious and comfortable sitting area. A south-facing balcony overlooked an intensely cultivated, multi-acre market-garden, irrigated by river-fed, man-made channels. Locals could be observed tending crops from dawn to dusk in these fields.
A Chinese style breakfast was included the room fee, but we also opted to eat dinner each evening in the hotel restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner meals were prepared with an accent on health and use of locally grown foods. After dark, an open fireplace in a courtyard was used to barbecue snacks such as sweet potato and chicken: the courtyard doubled as a children’s play area and storage place for bicycles (pedal) which could be used by hotel guests.
Evidence suggests that tourism has trumped agriculture as the main occupation of the Ming Shi village. For tourists who prefer a more communal experience, the village offers guided sampan tours on the river that wends its way through the village. However, the best way to benefit from the village scenery is by bicycle. Cycling around the village and its dramatic needle-mountain vistas is easy, the bike trails are converted ag paths that intertwine the crop fields. They are paved and free of the traffic of tourist coaches, trucks and E-scooters that rage along the main highway.
My wife and I felt that we had come across a gem of experience that vastly exceeded our expectations when we booked the hotel. We plan to visit again next year, to enjoy a longer stay with the R&R it provides.

SSanchezThis hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

XXiamendaierThe location is very good, with the road in front and green mountains in the back. It has its own parking space and the cycling entrance is next to it. The inn is newer, has an elevator, and has its own restaurant. The breakfast provided is very delicious, one for each person, and you can order lunch and dinner. The facilities in the room are complete, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas, and there is a coffee table and chairs in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. You can drink tea while enjoying the views of the fields and mountains. The girl at the front desk is very enthusiastic, answers all questions, and takes the initiative to introduce local scenery and ways to play. It's just that the price is a bit expensive. It's the slowest season for tourism and the local housing rate is very low. The price is more than 300 yuan. It's really a bit expensive...

Llauren263The hotel was clean and modern, and every single room has a view of the surrounding karst mountains. The view from the pool is to die for.
The food in the restaurant was pretty good, if a bit overpriced. It would be lovely if they also had an English menu, but that's rare in this corner of China, and we managed with rudimentary Chinese and pointing.
Be aware that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Other than a small convenience store, there's nothing around. You need a car, scooter or bike to get around.
If I had any complaints, it would be that the rooms aren't very well insulated for sound. We could hear everyone who walked up or down the staircase.

GGuest UserThe area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

TTianyihuo7742Go to Chongzuo Mingxuan Pastoral in Guangxi to play the room, follow the navigation into the village entrance not far away, the door can be parked, is arranged on the third floor, floor-to-ceiling window view room, but there is a better view room! The same as the landscape of the community there, the price is much cheaper! Traveling to see the scenery, accommodation is just a sleep! The room was clean, the toilet smelled a bit, the landlord borrowed a bicycle for me, riding the view, very good! There is also a restaurant on the first floor, breakfast 10/person, dinner can be ordered! The taste is OK, the first day to eat stir-fried vegetables, the next day to eat a warm pot, the price is still OK! The ingredients are also very fresh! Overall, it is recommended to stay and eat!

RrachelmeetsworldI stayed 2 nights at the Mingshi Mountain Village. The amenities were very nice, as well as the service. The location was very convenient for visiting the Detian Waterfall (about 45 minutes away by car) and also for enjoying the Mingshi Scenic area. I rented a bike from the hotel one day (free with your hotel stay) and had a great time exploring the surrounding bike paths - highly recommend! The hotel staff were also great in helping me arrange a car to take me to the Nanning Airport.
I also liked that I could go inside the Scenic Area for free with my room card - it was great for evening walks and for the shows held there at night. I didn’t try the pool (but you need to pay extra for it anyways).
The breakfast is nice - it’s what you’d usually find for a Chinese international hotel. There was coffee & milk as well!
Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay here again.

However, for the beauty and tranquility of the park, it is worth staying for one night. There is also a small unenclosed terrace in the house. The hotel has a unique location, very close to Detian Waterfall. You can enter the park early in the morning when there are not many tourists. The breakfast is very rich, and the restaurant also has a variety of set meals to choose from in the evening. It takes about an hour to walk around the garden and you will encounter three boundary markers.

GGuest UserThis hotel is close to the train station, but far away from the center of Ningming. The buses are hard to find, and a bus stop is close, but it is impossible to know when buses are available. By chance, there are many tricycles that can bring you to the center at low prices (some are cheaper, some are less cheap). The reception in this hotel doesn't speak English but they are friendly. A few cheap restaurants close to the hotel but more in Ningming. In 2017 I found a cheaper hotel in the center but it was impossible to find it again. At that time the tricycles were more funny to take from the train station to the center, see the photo, now it looks like they have all been renewed by more standard vehicles. One thing has not changed : if you take a bus to Pingxiang, be sure to waste time at the security checkpoint between the two cities, take the train...
