Lovely, pretty pub set in beautiful village. All the rooms on ground level, making accessibility easy for mobility challenged guests. Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Would recommend.

Booked an overnight stop based on previous reviews.
Service was helpful and friendly and the room was well equipped and clean.
I spent the evening in the bar watching England's World Cup match. The atmosphere was cosy. The locals and owners were very welcoming.
The only downside was that breakfast was not available on Monday morning, although the home-made cookies in the room made up for it.

Fantastic stay! Room was very well presented, clean and there was everything in it you would need.

My mind’s eye of a perfect pub stopover. The room was full of character, clean and comfortable, the food evening meal and breakfast excellent in a proper pub with good beer.

Spent 2 nights here for business. The pub is amazing, thatched roof, beams and a roaring fire. The staff are extremely helpful, and the food and beer I had were excellent. Will definitely be using again

This place is a real gem. The perfect old English pub. Thatched roof, exposed beams, low ceilings, great food, wonderful staff, friendly atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms. We stayed for 3 days and loved this place.
