Popped in for lunch on my birthday. Lovely friendly service and delicious food. I’d throughly reccomended a visit. 😋 hope to visit again soon! I had a goats cheese salad to start which what’s fab, followed by a bream main. The mash with that was gorgeous too. All very yummy. My husband had a beef dish for main which was amazingly tender. No room for desert after those but the waitress presented me with a lovely ‘happy birthday’ plate, which was really appreciated. A really nice touch. 💕

Just had an amazing evening out here what a pleasant surprise. My wife booked us in for the chatueabriand deal for 2. Everything was absolutely perfect with our evening and there isnt a single point I could pick them up on. The food was superb, perfectly cooked and very fresh high quality items. The deal itself is very good value for money. The staff here are some of the best I have ever been served by in the UK and were very professional, engaging and efficient. They really made the evening and Jan in particular was very good and made huge efforts to ensure we had a good evening. We booked again before we left for their fish deal! The venue itself is very nice and has a good ambience to it. The bar is a lovely area for a pre dinner drink. They really have got everything right in this place.

We booked in advance for bed and breakfast to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was light and airy but what let the stay down was the breakfast - the price we’d paid was only for continental and there was an additional charge for cooked. We weren’t aware of this when we booked. We were the first down for breakfast and it was clear from the reactions of the other guests that they were all surprised with the breakfast offering. The continental was just a spattering of pastries and cereals and felt very stingy. Even the coffee was just a cafetière - latte or cappuccino were extra!! This was very disappointing for a Hotel of this standard

A really lovely hotel. Very nicely decorated especially in the lounge area and dining room plus bar. Centrally located for Christchurch.
