We had a lovely three night stay at this really great hotel. The position on the river is beautiful and it is a ten minute walk along the riverbank in to town and is very pleasant. We had a lovely room with a river view and was so clean and comfortable. The bed was very big and comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast is excellent and we also ate dinner in the Club lounge on our first evening which was very good. Last but not least are the staff all of whom were very professional and friendly with nothing too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Situated on a picturesque river near to Christchurch town. Excellent meal and friendly staff make this worth a visit if you are down in sunny Dorset. Will be returning soon with my other half and just love the friendly atmosphere. Didnt stay in the Hotel so cannot comment on the rooms.

It would be difficult to find fault with this hotel. Accommodation, food, service, location all excellent. Peaceful and relaxing with great riverside terrace. The room service breakfast brought up to the suite (overlooking the river) was a great start to the day. Looking forward to next visit.

Wow! What an amazing hotel this is! We had two nights here and from start to finish it was nothing short of fantastic! From the minute we arrived and had a lovely welcome from James on reception, to the cleaning staff who smiled and spoke to us every day, our stay was nothing less than perfect! The rooms were exceptionally clean, light and airy with the most amazing views of the river. The staff in the restaurants were friendly and on hand whenever you needed anythiny and the food and menus and the restaurant are absolutely fantastic and of a very high standard. We will absolutely come back here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exemplary service and wonderful staff! We enjoyed a very enjoyable mini break, staff friendly, food good especially breakfast.
Peaceful overlooking the river ,very relaxing.

This is a hidden gem on the river. High end offering with friendly service. Stayed last year for our anniversary and today for some light lunch. Consistently high standards and a unique setting. Would recommend for a lazy Sunday by the river.

My mum and I visited for our Birthday treat. On arrival we were met by James a very friendly and professional welcome. We checked into the spa, great location in Christchurch. The spa is in a small area but perfect for mum and I to relax. We both had excellent treatments by Katy and Lily. So friendly, it was lovely to meet them both. The facilities were good. The bubbly brunch was a treat, the warm welcome we received by a young man, apologies I did not get his name, tall and quite young but he was very genuine and welcoming. The restaurant team were great, thank you for our lovely brunch and a Birthday treat for Mum and I I at the end of the meal. We look forward to returning.

We decided to use the Captains Club in Christchurch because of its beautiful location and amazing design. The hotel is immaculately clean from the bar, restaurant and our fantastic suite. The welcome was brilliant with car park spaces set aside for us and our guests. Luggage taken to our suite and welcome drinks supplied. From that point on the hotel staff clicked into wedding mode. Every thing just flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Amy and Tim are the utmost professional people with attention to the smallest details. The restaurant food is incredible. As you can probably tell we had an amazing experience with the Captains Club.
