I booked a total of four Intercontinental hotels for this trip, one Crown, one VOCO, and two holiday inns. Except for the first-class lake view, this holiday inn in Qiandao Lake is much better than VOCO in every other aspect! At least the room is much larger, so you will feel very comfortable if you stay there for several days. There will be welcome fruits on the day of check-in, and indoor table tennis and swimming pool will be popular. The breakfast is rich in variety and the quality of the dishes is very high. It is of intercontinental standard at first glance. The restaurant is so beautiful that many people dine on the terrace. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Hu from the reservation department was very enthusiastic. We called for consultation one month in advance. Ms. Hu took the initiative to introduce the room type and the surrounding environment of the hotel, and also helped me inquire about self-driving and camping routes. Thank you very much for your warm and thoughtful service!

The hotel price is enough high and our expectation was also higher, but the reality is different. rooms are ok, they gave us a corner room and the view wasn't so good, I booked a bit more expensive for the lake view, but got disappointed with it after my check in and they said there wasn't other choice, all were taken already. The worse thing is their swimming pool, the main one for adults were all the time very cold, the water was frozen, we asked the reason and no response. we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool during our 5 days stay. the another one for kids was too dirty, haven't cleaned it for a while obviously, already smelly like a muddy puddle. even kids were asking why the water was that dirty. The resort includes 5 huge buildings and all were full. super crowded and all the people do use the only one swimming pool and the only one breakfast area. the breakfast was OK many choices of food, but it's impossible to enjoy your meal cause the area isn't fresh or clean. the floor was sticky. I would say they need improve or they now how to make things better but they don't care. especially for summer the swimming pool is so important for every guest but they seems wanna save money and not pay attention on it. feel disgusting and unhealthy after all I saw there.

I strongly recommend you experience a stay at Hilton Hangzhou Qiandaohu. It was one of the most comfortable stays ever. Maksim, one of the hotel employees, helped us from the start to the end. As a Korean, traveling in China is extremely difficult because of the language barrier. Although, I speak English, most of the Chinese do not. But, Maksim was able to speak 4 languages fluently; Korean, English, Russian and Chinese. He was happy to answer any questions regardless of time. So, if you are a foreigner considering a visit to Qiandaohu, Hilton is the place, and find Maksim when you do so. The hotel upgraded my room when I got there and prepared a nice welcoming fruit in the room. The hotel has a lot of fun activities, and nice restaurants. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable memories here.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.

We came for a short getaway from hot Shanghai. The hotel was very clean and the room spacious and comfortable. As the only foreign family in the hotel, we were treated very well and helped by the staff to get COVID tests in the town. Breakfast was good and the food and drinks on the menu were really affordable. The main reason to come here is the water park. Our balcony faced directly in the park, which is clean and pretty good fun. Crowded on the weekends! Make sure your room reservation includes tickets. We didn’t realize we had to pay extra and had to purchase tickets on both days. There is no additional pool available, so there is not much to do if you don’t use the water park. There is very little else in walking distance of the hotel, but we did find a few nice little restaurants. Best to come with a car or make friends with a local taxi driver, as we did!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We ate Western food in the bar every evening (burgers, chips etc) and the food was great. The pool was lovely (the jacuzzi is very warm) and my daughter loved the play room in the basement. Two things to consider: firstly, the boat trip is only short and involves either a cable car ride or a steep walk (I don’t like heights, so we opted for the walk and it was pleasant but would not be suitable for the elderly or very young children). Secondly, we did not know we had to book our taxi to the station the night before we checked-out, so a member of the team eventually booked one for us, as my Didi app would not get us a car, with the hotel being so far out. Overall, a lovely place and we will definitely return soon.

We made our vacation with our 2 little girls. All things such as pools, playgrounds, meats are useful and effective for children. Especially the playground is free for the guests, very cute and enjoyable. The locations and foods was pretty good. But the outdoor swimming pool is closed at noon, it is strange for foreigners 😃 the indoor swimming pool is deeper but not so deeper than 1.5 mt, so pools are not enough for adults. Every evenings and nights, there is live music in the lobby. There are few workers who can speak English but they should be more.

1. Wrong room allocation, no balcony, it took us more than half hour to clarify 2. Refridgerator did not work, they tried to repair but it still did not work, brought a new fridge in the next morning, we put our drinks in and went out, in the evening our drinks had been hot, the fridge was heating instead of cooling, they again changed the fridge. 3. They made the bed every day and ecchanged the towels, but did clean the glasses, coffee cups and the table. 4. A lot of Chinese TV channels, one russian, arabic, french and spanish each, but no english TV channel.

The first time I stayed at Qiandao Lake Kaiyuan Resort, I felt that the environment was beautiful, the lake view was wide, the facilities were complete, the service was thoughtful, and the food was more affordable than outside. The hotel upgraded the garden view room I booked to a lake view room, and I could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake from the balcony. The hotel also arranged a service specialist-An An. No matter what requirements you have, as long as you contact An An on WeChat, any problem can be solved in time. When I was out, my clothes were hung on the balcony. During the period, it suddenly rained heavily. I thought, this time all the clothes are wet. When I returned to the hotel, I saw the note left by the room attendant-Feng Zhen. It turned out that she had taken the clothes hung on the balcony into the house and they were not rained on. The thoughtful service of the hotel is evident. This is a very satisfactory accommodation experience.

The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, and you can directly see the lake. The service staff is very thoughtful. There is a fish street next to it, which is very convenient for eating. It is also close to the pier and you can go directly to the island to play.
