Hicimos aquí una parada técnica en nuestro viaje por Austria para poder visitar Hallstatt antes de irnos. La recepción es a través de una pantalla pero estaba en muchos idiomas, incluido el castellano, muy sencillo todo. After a bit of a drive there is a lot of room to park your car. The friendly reception and check-in went smooth and fast. The room is spacious and has a lot of places you can put stuff, which is handy. There is also a small bacony, just be aware, neigbours can easily look into the room next door. Bed, pillows and bathroom were excellent. Despite the many race fans in the hotel it never felt crowded. Breakfast was fresh and good. Dinner was disappointing and the only point of improvement. It was either pizza or pasta ...... and there is limited dining in the surrounding area. So if you plan to stay longer, think twice. There is also a bar with big screen and a terrace. On arrival you also get a tourist discount card, giving you free access on the ski-lift.

First impressions were not good - check in was supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived at 4pm and were told the room would be ready in 30-60 mins. Ok no problem, we wandered around the small town and came back an hour later but the room was still not ready and ended up sat in the lobby for half an hour doing nothing. Got much better after that though, the mountain view room had an incredible view and the room was very clean. Dinner was good with the same amazing view, breakfast had a decent selection and service was excellent throughout. The pool and spa seemed great, shame we didn't have time to use them and given that this is quite an expensive hotel, we felt pretty short changed with the late check in.
