The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet, given the busy road and pub nearby. The bathroom is large and well laid out. There is a balcony and a comfy couch. There were tissues - and nice toiletries. The shower had decent water pressure. We had dinner in the bistro with family, and the staff were outstanding. The food was great. It was a great place to stay .

We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and we were not bothered at all by connecting/neighbouring rooms.
The hotel cleaning staff were super helpful, took our rubbish bags and gave us clean towels when requested on the 2nd day.
I used the guest laundry and found it to be easily accessible and reasonably priced. Children found the gym to be quite entertaining.
Having the restaurant on site was great, the food was good, but truthfully the service at the restaurant could have been a bit better.
They were very busy so can understand long wait times, staff just didn’t have the best attitude about it, would be willing to give them a second chance during a less busy time though.
Overall The Sands by Nightcap Plus was a fantastic place to stay! Can not fault the hotel at all, would definitely stay again! :)
We are very familiar with pet friendly accommodation and this does not cater for pets. Are Motels really allowed to say pet friendly when they are not? This place.. No gated safe area either the front or back of our room. If you don't want to wake up to the work traffic at 5.30 am this is the place to avoid. I'm use to noise but this was too much. I read negative reviews way back in 2015 about the cleanliness and nothing has changed, because of that.. I don't think these owners care. You'll be disappointed like we were if you stay here. It also says your towels are changed every 3 days .. nope. Rubbish emptied at least once a week... nope. I can't say one positive comment about this Motel..... so disappointed. We won't be back.
Needed 2 bedroom apartment , outdoor area to sit for long periods and a pool and needed it all to be close to Mum's aged care facility in case she didn't manage being away. Delivered on all this. Staff lovely and very efficient. Needed my booking to be changed to downstairs and a late check in. All done with no fuss, confirmation email for piece of mind. Beds really comfortable. Would stay there again
Really good road trip accommodation. Priced just right, friendly service if you get there before 5pm they ”save the planet” (they take cash) no fuss. Otherwise if your late just ring it through on the debit card and they will have a room ready for you whenever you get in. Nice people. This place has the look and feel of a 60's/70's motel but modern inside. Smoking's OK outside on the seats & they've got the big ashtrays for you. Hottest high pressure shower in a large alcove as well, very relaxing. TV's there and WiFi but these days its all on your phone right. Just down the road there's a servo with the lowest priced petrol and pretty good quality staff made coffee machine coffee. A shopping centre & railway station & also a mitre ten hardware only minutes away. Also a tyre place if you've got a flat. byo your carpet & a clothes rack and everything you would usually bring with you on a motoring holiday. Will most definitely be returning.
Very comfortable stay. Convenient location with the hotel and Dan Murphy’s right next door. Had lunch at the pub and the meal was fantastic value for money. There is also a fish n chip shop and a few other shops very close by. Would definitely recommend.
Nice local chain hotel in Australia, 24-hour front desk check in, no problem to arrive at the store after 12 o'clock in the evening, the location is on the side of the highway but the room will not be noisy at all. I booked a room for 3 people, the room is large, clean and tidy, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, the mini bar has a variety of snacks (paid), capsule coffee, instant coffee. The hotel is far away from the urban area. If you take a bus, you need to transfer from a bus to a train. It is recommended that you can stay in a self-driving tour because parking is free. Opposite there are bunnnings building materials market, woolworths supermarket, coffee shop.
And chain fast food taco bell, chargrilled burger and McDonald's, unfortunately forgot to take a photo. Overall, the staying experience is good, and I will consider staying again when I drive to Melbourne in the future.
