Find the Best Dubbo Hotels

We arrived at the Orana after a long drive from Canberra and were greeted in such a friendly manner by the reception staff. We were assured that if there were any issues with our room we could contact staff and these issues would be addressed immediately. We felt at ease and even more so when we got to our room for 3 nights. We were welcomed by some lovely zebra's on the walls and almost everything we needed to get a good nights rest . We sought recommendations for dinner that evening and were directed to the Westside Hotel where we had a fantastic meal and some drinks too. We enjoyed several conversations over the next few days and felt very much at home. Well done guys you are doing a great job and we would not stop to book with you again.

We stayed in a service apartment. Excellent stay, comfortable rooms, close to the zoo, shops and restaurants. The Inn has multiple pools - one heated indoor and two outdoor pools. The service apartments are connected well to the Inn and its amenities. The apartment is cleaned daily and well maintained.

The environment inside the hotel is good, parking is very convenient. The room is equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, which is convenient for daily use. Daily hygiene is also good, and overall it is worthwhile for self-driving travel.

1st - Check-in - easy and with friendly, helpful lady. 2nd - Open door to room smells fresh and clean. 3rd - Rooms are clean and stocked with tea, coffee etc. 4th - Beds and pillows are so comfortable. 5th - Clean linen, towels etc 6th - Great pool 7th - Owner very helpful and informative about things to do and go. Where to eat etc. 8th - Great value for money. 9th - Internet a little slow at 1st but was fine as the night went on. 10th - No screen door. Overall had a great stay.

Get together at the Garden Hotel for dinner, first time we had eaten there and I was impressed. Good pub food, lovely outdoor seating areas that are family, kid and adult friendly. You could choose from a number of areas that were in the sun or the shade. Live music was fabulous - although a little loud (hard to talk over). All in all a great place for a pub meal on a summer evening. Staff were a bit slow clearing tables, but friendly and polite.

We travelled to Dubbo for a sports competition and stayed at the Oxley Motor Inn from the 29th of April 2022 for two nights. My first impression was that the lady at reception with very friendly. We have stayed here many years ago when it was names the Blue Lagoon. On arriving to our room the first thing I noticed in Room 114 was that the room is very small for a family room. One of the beds is basically right under the door. I had three kids and myself and it was very crowded let alone if you had another adult. The bathroom is not good, the shower door area is not sealed which means that water goes absolutely everywhere all over the bathroom floor and fresh mat ends up drenched. Not a nice feeling stepping out of a fresh shower in to that!! There was also a long strand of hair at the top of the shower hanging over the corner of the shower door. The green towels are very thin and some were ratty on the end. On the second night I could not get a park within the facility. I had to park on Cobra St and lug three kids and our luggage and pram on to the main road. Even with a full house adequate parking should be provided. I’ve never had to stay somewhere where I can’t park within the facility. Maybe they should have allocated parking with room numbers painted on concrete. For $164 per night I was very disappointed. You can get away with a smaller room dubbed as a family room but when you have ratty towels and bathrooms that need attention you can’t help but feel like it’s been a big waste of money.

This was the best choice to stay as the location was perfect. Very clean rooms and the staff went way beyond to make our stay Comfortable during Christmas time. We had variety of restaurant to choose for dinner. Must recommended for clean Comfortable modern apartment with central to cbd location.
