"The room was very clean and well-maintained, but there was no air conditioning and it was very muggy. I also stayed on a Friday night, but the bar was noisy until midnight and I couldn't sleep even with the windows closed. The staff were friendly and kind, and the welcome drink was delicious! Shampoo and other amenities were provided, but there was no hair dryer, which may be a problem for women. There is no elevator, so it may be a bit difficult for those with heavy luggage."
"An old hotel worth experiencing.
There are many foods around. Italian street, very close to the port, the coast is beautiful.
The historical precipitation of the room beauty + delicious tea bag coffee.
On the top floor there is an open-air local favorite restaurant + bar that can see all sides of the city from a distance. Beautiful.
There are also shopping facilities nearby.
Recommended stay"
"Really unique heritage hotel. Comfortable large room and excellent Gimlet bar with bespoke gin cocktails. Bartender made me a drink even though bar already closed for the day. Luxurious apelles bath products available for purchase below retail price. You get a lot of bang for your buck with free minibar (w beer and wine), welcome cocktails at Gimlet and a mini but high quality brekkie."
"Arrive at the hotel and get a room quickly
Upon entering the room, it was discovered that there was a problem with the water draining from the wash basin.
The hotel arranges workers to inspect and transfer rooms
Very appropriate
Complete cooking utensils, comfortable and quiet accommodation
Free parking is very convenient"
"Easy to get to everywhere in Fremantle. Public parking nearby too. The stuff were very nice. We had a day to Rottnest island, Rottnest express pick up service is right in front the hotel. It’s excellent for family with young children. "
"The staff was quite friendly, but the front desk was drunk when I went there 😅 The most outrageous thing is that this hotel is more than a hundred years old. There is no toilet in the room, but it is a public bathroom. However, the hotel does not seem to have special signs. I wonder if they only mark it if there is a toilet"
"This is a bouquet hotel, not very fancy but with all the essentials you need. Room is cozy and clean.
Just to remind everyone that the address of the hotel is #30, not #32. I was struggling to check in #32 on the night until I found it was actually #30 on that street.
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodated me a late check out.
Worth the money paid."
"Приехали к отелю и поцеловали замок, хорошо,что на двери был звонок и нам на него ответили и не надо было звонить с телефона, так как у нас не было местной симки. Но все равно с нашим английским было немного не комфортно при заселении. Но сам отель красивый и очень уютный. Номер огромный. Завтрак вкусный. Ещё неприятность - при выселении надо было доплатит 45 баксов"
