The place was very busy when we arrived as everyone it seems was watching boxing on TV in the “common” a bar/restaurant attached to the resort. I was surprised by how many units there were, the place is a bit out of the way, the very pleasant receptionist had allocated a one bed upstairs apartment overlooking the surrounding area sea view. There was plenty of free parking right outside the apartment. The unit had a separate bedroom with ceiling fan, a large clean comfortable bed. In the apartment was a small kitchenette with hob, microwave and toaster. The bathroom had a Spa bath with overhead shower, also there was avery useful washing machine and dryer. Outside i opposite was a decent sized swimming pool with some loungers, however pool towels are not provided here. These are ideal if you intend to self cater, most of the people staying I guess probably brought a good supply of food with them as the nearest shops would be back in Margaret River Town, a good 10 minutes drive. There is a bar / restaurant on site, breakfast can be had at the White Elephant beach cafe across the Road 5 minutes walk beach side. Margaret River beach apartments is a super place to stay at both for travelling through and holidaying.

Spacious with multiple rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Didn't use any facilities since we were there for only 1 night. The resort is 10 mins drive from Margaret River town.

The landlord Dirk was very patient and friendly, and provided us with great travel advice. The room was truly spotless, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. The large floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to wake up to the sound of birds and sunshine in the morning. The wifi in the room was better than in many other hotels. The water used was filtered from the collected rainwater, and we used it very carefully. The breakfast included the landlord's homemade bread, homemade honey and jam, etc., which was very special. There was a lively and friendly dog, which was very cute. Finally, we have to say: When we stayed here at night, we looked up at the vast Milky Way starry sky, and the shock of that moment will remain in our memory for a long time.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Basildene Manor. Although our room was a bit small, it was very comfortable, quiet, clean and finely appointed. The Manor is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is situated in a magnificent garden, which the dining room overlooks. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were very attentive and charming. We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor.

Very beautiful, with small garden, swimming pool and facilities for children to play. It was just too early to get off work at the front desk. We arrived a little earlier when we were prompted. As a result, the front desk had locked the door. I just ran into two children running outside and asked them. After a while, the staff would give We have the keys. It is recommended to check in as soon as possible.

We stayed in cabin W, it was good. Needs a new washer in cold water tap over vanity. Would be good to have instruction booklet for aircon. Thank you.

What an awesome stay, the large two bedroom with loft chalets are awesome. Every attention to detail with every piece of equipment you could imagine. The gardens are beautiful and the BBQ and BBQ area fabulous. we had chalet 10, which was outstanding. Love the venue, location and value for money with this friends and family stay.

Having been to Margaret River a few times, this time we wanted to stay somewhere that we didn't have to drive out just to eat or get groceries. So this seemed to be ideal; 1 street away from the main street of Bussel Highway, and within sight of a Coles supermarket. Margaret River is a quiet town, so even with a bus stop right outside our apartment, there were buses waiting there only for about 15 mins each morning and we didn't really hear any engine sounds that bothered us. We went by to have a look-see as we were walking around the town, and fortuitously met the owner, who allowed us to check-in earlier as there wasn't anyone occupying the apartment the night before. Great bonus as we had driven down from Perth and wanted to unpack & rest. We had the end unit so didn't have to share the entrance with other guests. The living & dining areas were really huge, with acres of space for 4 people. Each one of us could have our own space on the sofas or balcony, and gathered at the dining table (which could seat 8) for meals & games. Secured parking in a garage just under the unit was also great, so that we didn't have to depend on street-side parking. Had a great time there and was able to walk to all the places to eat, see & shop in Margaret River! Most convenient place to stay, and also got a discount by booking directly with the apartments instead of through a 3rd party booking site.

Overnight on a Tues/Wed. This is a ”go to” place. Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. Just a great experience. We have stayed before and will book again, time permitting. This accommodation is in a great location. We discovered even more things about the property that we were not aware of - good things. Beautiful stay! Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and all the amenities you need are provided for. I enquired about staying an extra night and they accommodated during a busy period and made the transition effortless. Location is the best I’ve had in Margaret River being located right in the centre of town and you can tell they really take pride in ensuring you have a very comfortable stay whilst here.
