Great stay at Windward Apartments. Directly across the road from the beach with interrupted (but still great) views of the ocean. You can park the car and walk every where. Unit was comfortable and clean (but a little dated). On-site managers were friendly and helpful. Games area for kids/ families, with entertainment packs for kids- great touch!
Hay was going to write this as the review for the hotel – is it to harsh or am I missing something If you were to rate this place based on location it is five star for sure. I wish everything else had the same rating. This place is well positioned on the promenade, close to shops, places to eat and across the road from the beach. However, the building is outdated, the singular lift is old and if you have phobia of elevators do not use it, it bounces and they have had to put a sign up not to bounce or jump otherwise it will stop. The building operates a garbage shoot which is great in concept, however it was clogged up and the smell was putrid, it was so bad we felt sick every time we waited for the elevator and it began to come into the apartment. We advised the team a couple of times over the week, but nothing had changed. The rooms were ok, mattress quite hard and uncomfortable but the rest of the three bedroom apartment was spacious.

Location is great, however our room (on level 1) overlooked the back / side streets of the hotel and the noise from garbage trucks / children below screaming in their hot tub / roadworks etc., was really loud and started early in the morning and woke us up. Facilities were good - small kitchenette, newly renovated bathroom, 2 x bedrooms, nice 'lounge area' and a lovely balcony - the noise was just a real nuisance. We also had a problem with the water overflowing outside one of the bedrooms late at night, which warranted us contacting the owners to take a look. Gushing noise was right near the bedhead of the bed and we were unable to sleep. Problem was rectified quickly and owners were grateful for being advised of the problem. I've stayed here before but stayed in a 2 bedroom unit overlooking the marina and surf club - much nicer room, further up, less noise. Owners are lovely people to chat with and helpful with information / directions as well. Pool was lovely (cold), spa was lovely and warm. Didn't partake in any food at the hotel during our stay, so can't comment on that. Short of trying to cut back some of the noise from the back streets - it was a pleasant visit.
Light in toilet not working Light above dining table not working Bedside lamp in main bedroom not working Windows dirty Ceiling fan in lounge room not working My 3 year old granddaughter found a table on the floor in the 2nd bedroom lucky she bought it straight to me I have heart issues and we were 3 floors up with no lifts Room 10 in Bayview Was an expensive weekend and I was totally disappointed in the room
The apartment is very spacious and with a great view!! The only thing that was bothersome were the beds. They are very thin and hard. So every morning our backs were killing us. But to be honest it was not a deal breaker. We were super close to the beach, shops, and many restaurants!
I did phone the property first to ask a few questions and was given an amazing deal to book direct so naturally I did. I stayed in the two bed two bath on the 12th floor with water views. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean everyday was beautiful! If you’re worried it’s not absolute waterfront you honestly won’t be disappointed with a water view apartment, huge balconies let you soak up the view privately. Mooloolaba is a more affordable option than Noosa with so much to do and see within walking distance If you want the flash and game of Noosa just jump in the car (or Uber) and drive Stylish furniture, clean and fresh interiors are welcoming and as I’ve mentioned the location is fantastic Allocated parking available and direct access for guests (or food deliveries) from intercom to your front door. Staff were unseen but available when you dial, which personally I want and enjoy. I’ll be back and will ask for this particular Appartment, I can not downgrade now lol Thank you for a fantastic week One overworked 30 something Sml business owner
Arrived later than 5pm and was able to check smoothly as well with instructions given. Carpark is ok but abit tight for large vehicles. Rooms are clean though bathrooms abit small and water temperature is abit hard to control. No amenities like bathroom slippers or dental kits provided which is disappointing given the expensive rate. Left a charger in room and managed to get it back few days later, amazing service!
Ok last but not least the ocean view is mind blowing!

AAnonymous UserThe apartment sold in China is then rented and managed by a third party. Daily necessities are all available. Crossing the road to the left is a large shopping mall super convenient, and the two streets to the right are the seaside. Maybe few people in China travel where to go. Stayed for 5 days and felt awesome.
DDaniel AlversFantastic stay over Easter. We were in a non-ocean view apartment that still had a lovely view of the ocean, if blocked a little by surrounding apartment blocks.
Service from the reception was fantastic with nothing too difficult.
The Mantra itself is ideally located to make the most of the Mooloolaba strip.
The apartment was really comfortable and had all the kitchen essentials for cooking when you can't be bothered going out.
We even found there was a special path to the local Coles supermarket for hotel guests that made it so simple to go shopping.
Will definitely be back to try an ocean view apartment.
GGuest UserWe stayed here two nights and found the cabins clean and tidy and the whole area was well maintained. Loved that it was a very short walk to restaurants and beach. Will be recommending to friends and family.
GGuest UserThe location is good, right on the beach. You can park one car for free and there is a dedicated parking space. The management is good, but the staff gets off work at certain times. There are two swimming pools. The price is on the high side.
GGuest UserThe best stay we've experienced in Australia! We have been to many different towns and many hotels so far and this is by far the best out of them all! Well done and thank you for the pleasant accommodation.
I stayed 3 nights. Yes, it had ocean views but the main road out front was noisy and so were my neighbours. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well- supplied with crockery and cutlery, but the dish sponge had old food caked on it (and was half of a full dish sponge someone had cut in half 🙄). The kitchen ceiling looked like there had been a fire at some point and the black marks had been hastily painted over. Two bath towels and a bath mat were supplied and that was all - no hand towels or face washers. The bathroom was basic and tired, like the rest of the apartment, but the shower was good. The air con worked. The wall clock that had no battery in it so the hands were permanently stuck on 1.40 said it all, really.
The guest rooms here rate no more than 3-star. While fairly clean and with good beds and fair but small ensuite, they need new carpets and just a bit of care around the edges. Our room was quiet, on the upper level. A bit of money spent on the rooms would lift them to a higher level. Room servicing was good. We booked direct. They are a reasonable price for this region. We were given drink vouchers and breakfast pack each day, and discounted meals in the adjoining hotel, which we enjoyed immensely. The guestrooms are small, but we used the large Kawana Hotel and its marina outlook as our lounge. This made our experience better.
GGuest UserVery well priced for what is on offer, service was amazing, cleanliness was great, amenities and outdoor areas were also great and inviting. Also great that you can bring your dog if it's a smaller breed ! Also great that fresh towels were provided daily without having to ask ! Great job guys will definitely be back !
