Quiet and secluded location in forest, very private and peaceful. We booked the 2 bedroom chalet for 3 nights. Nearest town is about 6-8mins drive away, not too far, but the drive is a tad scary in the dark (which is quite early this time of year). Very roomy, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, though there were no basics (such as oil/salt/pepper), though there was a small pack of milk provided. Coffee powder provided, but no coffee press. Very strong stable wifi , no password needed, which was awesome. You can login to your netflix account on the smart tv. Washing machine is outside in a separate room, which is not very convenient to get to in the winter cold (and at night). No dryer, so need to wrangle with the clothes line and there's very few clothes pegs provided. Need to clear trash which you need to drive out to, not very convenient. There's a pool and small playground (with a trampoline) Overall, we loved the stay, for its privacy and closeness to nature, but be prepared with food/amenities else you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere. Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, and there's a bathtub. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is good. Strong heating from the main heater in the living room, which was a nice surprise We saw kangaroos (regularly at a clearing on the drive out), a bunny once when we first arrived, and had frequent visits from a kookaburra, which was lovely.
Pullman Bunker Bay has the potential to be a world class destination resort like Bederra Island or Qualia resort located on the eastern coast of Australia. The reason for my average rating purely came come to the soft product or lack of it which is basically the service elements. The pullman bunker bay is located in a Beautiful part of Western Australia with its own semi private beach . The villas rooms are bit dated but still very nice and comfortable, the shared facilities of lobby and restaurant are also very nice and well maintained. Where this resort falls down in is the service elements in Housekeeping and Food and Beverage. We stayed 4 nights at the resort and the housekeeping was never consistent sometimes the did the bed others day they didn’t do the bed same with the toilets sometimes they were cleaned sometimes they weren’t. The ladies working in Housekeeping are very nice and friendly but seemed to be understaffed and not trained enough. In Food and beverage we visited the restaurant every day for breakfast and once for dinner. The food elements were not bad in such but everyday the breakfast food was the same and very generic being so close to Margaret River you would think that they would incorporate some local produce . The service or lack of it is what really made the entire f&b experience fall down at breakfast they seemed to have enough staff but they all seemed to be milling around their bar area talking amongst themselves rather then serving the guest. There is no service or engagement at all at breakfast time which is very disappointing especially for a 5 star resort. The potential is there for Pullman Bunker bay to me a real world class destination resort but if they ant to compete with the like of Qualia they need to have a solid look at there staff training and engagement. P.S a special mention to the Fijian staff who worked in the Front office and buggie drivers they were always friendly and enthusiastic and engaging.

1. Check-in was very fast, it only took 15 minutes to find the check-in front desk. If you are staying at this hotel, drive outside and only see the entrance of the restaurant when you come in. Go in from the restaurant and ask the waiter and they will direct you to the front desk!
2. The facilities are not the latest but they are very stylish. The corridor before entering the room is beautifully decorated, and the room is also very unique and clean. The restaurant downstairs does not disturb the accommodation area at all. The hot water is great. There is a heater.
3. Breakfast is provided, you must eat it, it is very delicious! It can be eaten for lunch, it tastes better than many outside restaurants🥹🥹
4. The environment is great, and you can ask the store in advance when there will be activities. We only passed by for one night, and when we left, we found out that there was a music festival the night before🥹🥹 It is a store that includes food, accommodation and entertainment. I will definitely do it next time I have the opportunity. Would go again!
We loved the pizzas and calamari starter. My veggie-eating compatriots raved about the beet salad and feta cheese. The craft beer was also excellent (despite their having run out of their only IPA). The staff was helpful and the atmosphere extremely family friendly with lots of room to run around and a few playground items.
Excellent location, lovely hosts and superb room with balcony - a total chilling stay walking distance to a beautiful, safe beach and close to a golf course where one evening we counted 60 (yes 60!) large, small, old and young kangaroos feeding. Very near to other locations worth visiting- ask Serge for advice. Many, many thanks and when next we come back to W.Aus, we will be booking once we have confirmed dates. Many, many thanks! After we made the booking at eight willows iconic room no 2, we managed to get an extention till 11am check out via email. On our arrival, staff verbally confirmed 1 hour extension till 12 noon checkout on condition after calling and confirming 2 hours prior of checkout. On the day of check out we called up the reception at 10am which was addressed by the accomadation manager who refused to give a late checkout and asked us to leave by 10am. I made her clear the email confirmation for 11 am checkout and later a verbal confirmation for 12 noon checkout, which she refused to grant and insited to leave at 10.15am. A family of 2 adult 2 kids cannot make up a checkout within that 15 minutes which I insisted, as a result she granted another 15 minutes. She was very rude from the initial conversation itself and kept insisting what she said earlier. We were really impressed with the resort, rooms, location and 1st day of service from the reception. Our experience was ruined just b'coz of the accomadation manager' s unacceptabl conversation.
