"Spacious room with three beds.
Breakfast satisfactory.
About 14km drive to Kicking Horse ski resort. We did enjoy the skiing and snowboarding here.
Car parked outside. Therefore have to spend 10 minutes to wipe off the snow on the car"
"Yoho is less well-known among the three national parks of Banff, Jasper, and Yoho, but its Natural Bridge, Emerald Lake, and Takakkaw Falls are well worth seeing. Staying in Golden is a smart choice. First, the price is reasonable; second, it's convenient for dining and shopping; and third, you can catch up on any sights you missed on the first day on your return trip the next day.
B&Bs are much cheaper than those in Lake Louise and Banff.
The hotel is a bit historic, but clean and very quiet."
"The location is good. Although it is a 90-minute drive to Banff, the price-performance ratio is very high. The breakfast is free (not included in the order, but it can be used for free). The toast is very good."
"The hotel staff are very helpful. I always leave bags when I’m away skiing for the week.
Checked in quickly.
Rooms are big, immaculately clean, quiet and have v comfy beds. They are also nicely decorated. Got coffee machine, fridge, microwave & good wifi. Breakfast is pretty good. Got some fresh fruit, decent scrambled eggs, yoghurt and porridge if wanting more healthy options.
It has a pool which is nice.
Hall decor is now a bit dated and could do with being re-decorated."
"The hotel is good size and clean. It is located off the main highway but we did not hear any road noise in our room. It is a few minutes drive into the busier part of Golden. We chose to stay in Golden to explore Yoho National Park. Comparing with the lodging options in Lake Louise, staying in Golden was good value. The only complaint I had was the bed. The mattresses did not provide good motion isolation."
"I think that a hotel with good value for money is also the happiest one for children. The hotel has free parking, breakfast, the most important hot pool and swimming pool with large water slides. Children like it very much, but the room is quite good, but the room is quite good. Very clean, bathing hot water is very good. There is a Chinese restaurant around. The service staff is very patient and enthusiastic."
"Just on the edge of the highway, this area is the transitional accommodation to Banff, there are many hotels of the same type. This one is relatively small and its facilities are relatively old, but it is cheaper.
Two floors, no elevators, Canada is basically a wooden structure house, there is still noise when you move around. Check-in is fast, check-out is also very simple, as long as you return the front desk key.
The nearby attraction is the pedestrian wooden bridge on the Kicking Horse River."
"As a relay station for self-driving Banff Park and Jasper, the hotel is convenient to travel and can be reached from the highway. The room facilities are basically complete. There are Japanese restaurants and supermarkets within five minutes away, making it convenient for meals. Compared with hotels in Calgary, the price is more expensive and the price/performance ratio is slightly worse."
"Friendly check in, our room at the corner end. Take a long time to get a hot water. We have to take cold shower"
