"My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better.
1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand.
2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning.
3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting.
Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room.
4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included.
5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray
6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item.
7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them.
It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum."
"The location offers good transport links. While the main street is a bit of a walk away, there's a major Go Train station directly opposite the hotel. This was great, especially with a large supermarket nearby where we often picked up our dinner."
"Booked a big bed room, the room is clean, the space is quite large, the soundproofing is also very good, the coffee machine is also very clean, there is a hot water dispenser in the downstairs hall; the important thing is that the mattress is very comfortable. The only downside is that the boot sound of the fridge is a bit loud."
"I like the hotel
It offers free breakfast and staff was very friendly
The location is quiet but still in the heart of Oakville.
Bronte was ok but I would not go there again. They towed my car even I was a costumer of the shop next to ( it’s a typical Bronte problem) hopefully they get rid of these privat corrupt businesses.
Then I would come back"
"Easy check in. Called to let them know I was checking in late and they very quickly found my reservation and made a note. When we arrived the process was very streamlined and we were settled in our room with our dog in minutes. My husband had and nice sandwich at the restaurant. I noticed we were close to the elevator and we could hear the sounds slightly but we were not bothered by it once we fell asleep. The walls are well insulated because our dog did not hear sounds enough to make his bark which makes it easier for us to travel with him. Great sleep in comfortable bed with nice pillows and sheets. Extra blanket was great. Lovely bathroom and storage for clothes. Beautiful towels and supplies in bathroom. Nice sized sparkling bath tub. Comfy chair to relax in. Overall great place."
"Our stay in this hotel was ok.
The staff at the reception were nice but we had few other issues during this stay.
The room had smoke smell.
The shower door doesn’t close well and when someone takes a shower the water leaks out to the room floor.
We came back one day and the housekeeping didn’t clean our room and when we asked for it to be cleaned they said the house keepers leave at 5 so it’s not possible to do so!
And the last thing they have no safe box."
"This hotel is less than 25 minutes from Toronto International Airport. It is very convenient. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The front desk clerk is also very smiling. I flew to Toronto from Hong Kong. This is the second hotel I stayed in. I stayed for five days. The price is 130 knives per night. The breakfast is not bad. Will stay next time and recommend surrounding relatives and friends 👍🏻👍🏻"
"The location of the hotel is very good, the shopping around is very convenient, the room is large, with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, red wine glass, cutlery spoon, chopping knife, bottle opener, basically can be said to be readily available. There is a gym and a small swimming pool downstairs. Fried steak, buy a salad, open a bottle of wine, put on the table, very comfortable. Like, the important thing is that the price is not expensive."
"The hotel is brand new (a year old) and public areas & rooms are furnished with quality finishes per Marriott standards. Rooms are spacious & have fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & full sized fridge. The hotel also offers additional appliances that you can borrow. The gym & pool were up to date & modern & the patio area was pleasant & includes a proper grill which you can use. The complimentary breakfast was basic but nice. The staff were incredibly helpful & went out of their way when my travel plans kept changing. The hotel is conveniently located right by the QEW Highway & downtown Oakville is a short drive away. The price paid per night was competitive and worth it."
