"What a great hotel this is. Perfect location on the waterfront in Locarno, right next to the railway/bus station and jetty for boat trips on Lac Majeur. The hotel is modern, clean and with excellent friendly and professional staff. Of course Locarno is not cheap but this hotel offers overall excellent quality/price ratio and can be highly recommended. Large, modern Executive Double rooms with nice terraces with great views overlooking the bay. Great high quality breakfast on the terrace - served by really nice staff...This really is a great hotel and an excellent choice for Locarno. modern, clean"

"Great place - everything is new and modern! Close to the train station, but you can hardly hear the trains. There is air conditioning. Everything is spotless in the room, soft towels, a good bed, excellent plumbing. Thin pillows, if that's critical for someone. You can order breakfast for 10 francs.
The receptionist was very kind. For the entire stay they give you a guest card, which gives you the right to free travel throughout the canton of Ticino on trains and buses, plus a bunch of discounts. I liked everything, unfortunately, I was there only one night."

"The hotel is just opposite the train station. The hotel is quite bright and clean and sleeps very quiet at night. Bedding is good to sleep well. The hotel staff was amiable and gave a free ride card to the local area. There are not many varieties of breakfast but the quality is good."

"The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the station. The reception staff is very polite and explaining. The room can see the lake view. The floor of the room is high and feels comfortable. The pillows and beds are also very good, but I don’t know why the iron pipe makes a sound of “cockroaches” every half an hour. Breakfast is normal and the seat will not be too forced. Overall, very good hotel!"

"I was able to spend some wonderful days at Casa Barbara. Ideally located with the bus station in front of the house and within walking distance to Locarno train station. The cozy apartment is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything is there"
