"We had a pleasant stay at Amanthos Living Zurich Airport. Despite its proximity to the airport, we weren't bothered by any planes flying overhead at night. The location was ideal for us because we have family living nearby.
Upon arrival, we hadn't received any check-in information beforehand, but the 24/7 service desk was easily accessible by phone and helped us quickly. Access to the apartment is entirely via an app on your phone. It's convenient, but you do need to have your phone with you at all times, otherwise you won't be able to enter the apartment.
The apartment itself was clean, modern, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The only thing we missed was a kettle for making tea.
All in all, a comfortable stay and definitely a good base near Zurich Airport."
"I am truly grateful for the staff's consideration in accommodating my late check-in. The breakfast was also very delicious. Although the hotel is close to the airport, there is some noise from planes, but compared to other international airports, it is relatively quiet and the frequency of noise is low. I also appreciate the beverage service provided."
"Stayed here for 2 nights. Reception is 24/7. Can leave luggage for storage after check-out, they have baggage tags for claiming and will store them in a separate storage room outside the building. It’s right outside the tram station and 10 min walk to S Bahn Kloten Balsberg station. Room is very cold in December, no heater. Floor is so cold, no slippers provided. Hot water in bathroom works fine. Hair dryer is available in the room. EU sockets are only available in the lobby near reception, only swiss sockets are available in the room. We had to charge our device using single slot USB A cable in the TV. Triple room is a double bed with top bunk bed. Space is very small, cannot open big luggages. Has elevator/lift."
"Room is generally clean and spacious. Love it that it comes with fridge and microwave and cutleries. Didn't encounter the issue with not receiving access code as I duly submitted the documents and registered a few days in advance. Suggest that prospective visitors drop them an email to confirm everything is in order after completing the online check-in. Only issue is the bathroom area whether it gets flooded easily, guess it is due to the consideration for the physically challenged."
"This hotel is very close to the airport so i recommend to someone who has early or late flight. They say the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free and it stops at many different hotels."
"Have the worst impression of this hotel. First it was overpriced but we still came for comfort . We were announced to pay 45 Franks for dog then extra 35 for parking and it seemed very greedy for the hotel.
Bed wasn’t a ready for child so had to wait and wait. Amenities very basic and minimal. Felt disguised even to take pictures at hotel. Would never come again for this money and service !"
"I arrived quite late and had only planned to use this as an overnight transit hotel before heading into the city the next day, but it truly exceeded my expectations.
The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. You can easily find the designated stops for all hotel shuttles by following the airport signs, and departure times are clearly displayed. The shuttle typically arrives about 5 minutes before its scheduled departure and leaves promptly. No worries if you miss one, as there's a shuttle every 20 minutes.
The hotel lobby was grand, clean, and impressive, with excellent service. Seeing so many airline crew members, it's clearly a partner hotel for airlines.
The room was a comfortable size and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Complimentary disposable toiletries and slippers can be requested from the front desk.
It gets dark quite late in Zurich, and even at 9 PM, guests were still enjoying coffee and chatting at the outdoor tables, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere."
"Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The location right next to the tram station is great, and it's close to the airport. Since staying near Zurich HB is too expensive, this place is an excellent alternative.
It would be helpful if the hotel sign had a bit more lighting, as it's not very visible at night."
"Beautiful decor. Convenient location and very calm. Internal Italian restaurant was excellent for both food and people"
