"It was a nice location and very clean room. But we were allocated to a room just right above the staff smoking area, meaning we had to take the smoke non-stop from 7:30am to 9:30pm. We tried to ask the staff to swap rooms but they said they were fully booked and didn’t offer any help. The two of us just kept sneezing and having runny nose for the whole stay. I think to improve they could at least ask if the guests are smokers before allocating them into a room so full of smoke."

"Got upgraded to Hotel Porta Cervino, which is 200m further, but with better amenities. Wonderful clean room with mountain view, good breakfast and polite staff. Will stay at the same hotel again in future."

"The hotel is on the right side of the tasch station. The room facilities are modern and affordable. There is a train to Zermatt every 30 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes."

"Pros:
- super good location: the hotel is located near the Tasch station like 1-min walk and can go to Zermatt just 20 mins by train (only 1 stop). Super easy for transporting
- the room is clean and big
- the aminities are provided (except the toothpaste and toothbrush). There also have a shower gel but I’m not sure if it’s can be shampoo
- good breakfast
- have Coop at the opposite the hotel (~3-min walk)
Cons:
- Small bathroom with a sloped ceiling, so you have to bend while showering.
- Surprising with an elevator, you have to open the door by yourself and it has no barrier between you and the elevator shaft, you can feel the walls sliding past as it moves."

"Write it carefully for the convenience of friends who come later. Tasch is the town closest to Zermatt and is our first stop in Switzerland. We changed our minds temporarily and drove to Tasch at night. The town is not big, there are not many choices, and it feels not cheap. This hotel has the best value for money. I was quite nervous when I booked it, but it is actually quite good. The room is not big but not small. There is a bathtub and the bathroom is also OK. It is very warm and comfortable. The breakfast is similar to that of a four-star hotel in Italy. It has everything you need (although it has everything, I really want to eat fried dough sticks). Water is provided in the house, and there is a kettle downstairs. In short, I think the value for money is very good, and the scenery of the town is very good. The price is cheaper than Zermatt. It is very close to the station. Many people stay here and take the train to Zermatt to ski, because the train is also very convenient! The photo is next to the hotel, very beautiful"

"Myself and wife (both Singaporean) celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and just wrapped up a 15-day self drive vacation to Switzerland and Austria.
Our 7th stop 2 nights stay in Walliserhof Hotel: warm and smiling reception, to spacious/clean well laid-out room with balcony/good breakfast especially pastries/amazing views/3mins walk to Matterhorn Terminal Tasch, clean and cool air ..... no words can describe our immense joy and amazements.
Strongly recommend Walliserhof Hotel for anyone looking to stay close to Zermatt with peace and manageable cost. Thank you once again entire staff at Walliserhof Hotel .... till we meet again :)"

"I had a pleasant stay.
Though I had a technical hiccup with the self check-in, the hotel personnel were quick to respond and reacted super promptly.
And yes, there's a small balcony that has a nice view to the nature! :)"

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here.
If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅
2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, you can cook, we ate a few days of white rice can not stand, go to the COOP supermarket next to buy ingredients, make the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, chili fried meat, green vegetables, very satisfied 🤭
3. The room has a balcony, you can sit on the balcony to watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer, it must be very pleasant. However, we were too tired to ski for a day and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy 👻"
