"Overall a decent stay. To get straight to the point, the property is comprised of four buildings: Building 1 houses the conference rooms and restaurant, while Buildings 2, 3, and 4 are entirely dedicated to guest rooms. The rooms are quite spacious. Dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited; however, if you turn right upon exiting, there's a late-night BBQ spot that looked pretty decent. It's also very convenient that express and food deliveries can be brought directly to your room."

"The hotel's decoration style is a bit Chinese, the room is clean and comfortable, the sanitary conditions are also good, it exceeded expectations, and the cost performance is very high. The staff is considerate and actively recommends delicious and fun things to us. The hotel facilities are complete and they help us wash clothes. The overall experience is very good and super value. "I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Wulingyuan. It's very close to the east gate entrance and our room was clean and tidy. There is an option to do laundry at the hotel for free, which is very convenient. In the surrounding area you will find plenty of supermarkets and places to eat as well. The owners are super kind and helpful when it comes to booking tickets for the National park or any other question you might have. They are very knowledgeable about the different attractions and can also offer cheaper tickets if you have not purchased them yet."

"This is by far one of the best Homestay hotels we've ever stayed in. Not only is it newly opened, this hotel is extremely clean, with modern facilities (including self service laundry room, massage chair & even leg soaking service) in a local & cosy home setting. Conveniently located at only 10 mins away from the Shaolin scenic spot, it was very accessible. What made our stay truly memorable was the great & warm service that we received from the staff of hotel who went out of their way to take good care of us & are highly responsive even in the smallest of requests. We really felt warm & welcome throughout our stay...just like a home away from home."

"Thanks to Ctrip for the recommendation, I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was easy to find using navigation, and there was free parking in the parking lot in front. Although the hotel had only recently opened, there was no smell of renovation. The rooms were spacious, the water temperature was stable, and there were several brochures for the Shaolin Yanlu Martial Arts School next door on the table, reminding you where you are. In the morning, you could faintly hear the shouts of the martial arts school students doing their morning exercises, which was quite invigorating. After checking out, I got a complimentary cup of freshly brewed coffee from the coffee machine in the lobby, which tasted pretty good."

"Excellent stay in Dengfeng, best price to value ratio. The room was clvery cosy, and the location is pretty good being close to Zhongyue temple and a short taxi ride away to trails into Mt. Song. One small remark was that the room had smokey air, likely from the previous guest(s). Hence I had to air it out but the air quality still didn't fully get optimal. Other than that; a perfect stay!"

"The room is very good, spacious, bright, comfortable and clean, and free laundry is available. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and recommended the Ma Suilin stewed noodles which were delicious and inexpensive. Free room upgrade. Ctrip's room booking service is also very cost-effective. The facilities and services of Smart Selection are first-class, and my friends are very satisfied."

"We had a lovely stay. The food is well prepared and delicious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our boys were amazed at all the Kung Fu weapons on display. The staff were polite and helped us purchase tickets to the Kung Fu show and very friendly to our children. My only complaint is the black coffee was too weak and watered down. But given Chinese are not really coffee drinkers, this was a small problem and easy to forgive with all the other special things about this hotel. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"Environment: There is a separate parking lot, the decoration is quite modern, and the environment is good. We booked a room with bunk beds and a double bed. The room is relatively small. There must be more people staying in such a room. We are three adults and one child, so it seems quite crowded. And it is not a bunk bed at all, the bottom bunk is a floor bunk, which is not clearly stated in the room introduction. Facilities: The air conditioner is hot and cold, hot in the first half of the night and cold in the second half of the night, and there is no way to sleep on the upper bunk. When the air conditioner reaches 26 degrees, it is extremely hot up top. If it is turned down, it will be extremely cold down below. In short, it is useless. Service: The service was very good. The car was stuck in the parking lot in the morning, and they found someone to take us to the Shaolin Temple. The check-out experience was very bad. The ward rounds took about 15 minutes. I have a 5-month-old baby and the lobby was not warm. Anyway, I just stood there and waited for a long, long, long time..."

"We are a couple from Sweden that has been backpacking around the world for two years and we usually travel a lot. The stay was very nice! Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful. The breakfast room/reception is nice to relax at and there is also a living room when you enter the building were you can relax as well. Try to get a room on a higher floor and you get some mountain views. The owners are lovely and the husband is a somilier and gave us a glass of wine for free when we ordered dinner. You really need to try their food! It was really nice and so was the breakfast. We had dinner twice when we were there, try the sizzling beef and mushrooms. The staff is really nice and helpful especially the owners brother that helped us a lot with everything! We will for sure stay here again when we visit Dengfeng.
