Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.

GGuest UserThis Youth Hostel is wonderful, made me remain the ”pathfinder YH” in Wuhan and the ”Four Eyes Backpackers International YH” in Hangzhou.
The team is really kind, and my stay was quite happy time.
Located at a few meters form the South gate of the ancient City, buses that bring to the railway station and to the long distance buses station are not far.

ZzuriahI would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

CcicyhThe inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

The place was very easy and convenient to find once out of the minibus from Xinje.
Sam is a great host who helped a lot with what to do around and how to get around. I really appreciated the room as well as the excellent food served at the restaurant ! Sam speaks great English which is appreciated !

SSteven DowsonQuite tricky to find, down a single lane road, but car parking available next to hotel (20 yuan). Very friendly and welcoming owner, everything very clean and thoughtful design of rooms and communal areas. Rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing and sunrise - we booked a room with an east view which was lovely in the evening when we arrived but quickly got very warm in the morning, this would be great in winter but maybe the cool rooms on the other side of the hotel are better in summer. Excellent breakfast of noodles, very comfortable room and bed, the hotel is on the edge of an authentic village and we spent a few hours wandering around the rice terraces in the morning. Highly recommended.

XXiaoxinxianhongshidemamaI am a VIP customer of Ctrip. I found Yuanyang Yunshang Terrace Hotel through Ctrip and stayed at Yunshang Terrace Hotel. The hotel is not far from the ancient town of Jingkou. The hotel is a garden-style Hani mushroom house villa on the edge of the countryside. I stayed on the second floor of the villa. There are 3 floors in total, one household on each floor. The interior design of the villa room is very tall and stylish, very beautiful, the room is large and transparent from north to south, with floor heating and electric blankets. Even if the temperature drops in the past few days, the room is very warm. The person in charge of the hotel, Manager Che, was very enthusiastic to provide us with Hani Terrace tourism information and recommended itineraries, which saved us from taking detours. The hotel service is very thoughtful and meticulous, and the buffet breakfast is very local. The hotel helped us provide information about local drivers so that we could charter a car to see Bada Terrace, Duoyishu Terrace, Azhe Village Hani Ancient Village, and Laohuzui Terrace. Unfortunately, because of fog on February 3 and 4, we did not see the sunrise and sunset. I will stay in this hotel again next time I have the opportunity to visit Hani Terrace.

XXiaoxiaomadeaotumanThe location of the B&B is unbeatable, just opposite the blue terraces. There are 7 parking spaces at the door. If you don't stay at the hotel, you are not allowed to park. The parking spaces next to it are 20 yuan per time (a bit dark). The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room can be clearly opened to see the entire terrace, which is very comfortable. The downside is that it is quite cold at night in the mountains. The air conditioner is a cheap brand with insufficient power. There is only one bed with an electric blanket in the family room, which is a bit cold. It was much better after taking a hot shower. In addition, the Hani owner of the B&B may have organized a bonfire party during the festival, and there were fireworks, which made up for the defect that there were no activities in the mountains at night. Overall, it was not bad.

The inn is located close to the sunrise viewing platform, about 10 minutes' walk away, which is quite convenient and successfully avoids traffic congestion, especially on holidays. The conditions of the inn are average, but very clean. The innkeeper is very nice. We wanted to hike with our children, and he recommended routes for us and took us through the places where we are most likely to get lost. Although the whole hiking process was a little regrettable, the whole family was very happy and satisfied. Let me talk about the boss's cooking skills. The food is really good and the portion is big. We, three adults and two children, had three dishes and one soup and were all full. In short, the two children were full of praise.
