It was the last night in Shangri-La. I chose this homestay with a ******* style. The hotel room has a 270-degree view of the beautiful Napahai. At night, you can see the starry sky on the grassland. It is very quiet and there is no noise. The boss is very nice👍🏻

Our friend is a loyal fan of Xilinyuan and insisted to stay here. As a result, he suffered from altitude sickness as soon as he arrived in Shangri-La. Hahaha, I enjoyed it for him. When I first chose the B&B, I thought its location was not perfect and the price was a bit high, but after checking in, I felt it was worth it! Because it has a lot of experience projects, including bird watching, stargazing, ******* home visits, etc., which are paid and unpaid. Staying here for a day will not be boring at all, and it will even be fulfilling and meaningful. We signed up for the bird watching experience. At 7 o'clock in the morning, the teacher took us to Napahai to watch the migration of migratory birds. As a result, we also saw the colorful clouds and Rizhao Caishen Mountain at the same time! What a surprise! ! I was so lucky! ! The service of the B&B is also very good. They gave us medicine for our friends who suffered from altitude sickness, and sent us hot milk and delicious cheese at night. It felt as comfortable as living at home~

Hotel Khimtsang mixes traditional and modern designs in a minimalist style. The room has floor heatings, bed is firm and comfortable with warm fluffy duvets, shower is hot and strong with heating lights for the cold weather. But what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The hotel owners and staff all go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. They have been extremely hospitable and kind to me as a solo traveller. I felt very welcomed at Hotel Khimstang as they took extra care to ensure I was well adjusted. This will definitely be my hotel of choice if I came back to Shangri-La again.

It was a memorable NYE for me, had some drinks and chitchat with the other guests/staff by the fireplace, could see the fireworks and the view of Shangri-La old town from the 2nd floor. 阿英 was kind enough to upgrade me to the bigger room, provided an external heater as the floor heater would take some time, and sent our luggage to 北门. I wouldn’t mind climbing up some stairs but may not be ideal for some other people. Overall, I do love this place, it gave me the vibe of the mysterious Shangri-La.

The room is spacious and bright with good lighting. The location is good. You can see the golden mountain in the sun when you get up early. The hotel has a lot of public areas. It is comfortable and quiet. The food is not heavy and is very suitable for families with children.

Environment: The location is really remote. It is difficult to get a taxi. We have to rely on chartered cars to survive. The biggest problem of not chartering a car is that we have to eat dinner at the hotel. If we eat in the ancient city, it is difficult to get a taxi back at night. Although it is on the Napa Sea, we can't get in. There is a horse farm nearby. Napa Sea is just a place to look at and take pictures from the outside. It is quite close to the Gate of Heaven. Facilities: Maybe the business is very bad in the off-season. Cost reduction. The building that was originally quite decent to check in was closed. We changed to check in on the first floor of the residential building next to it. There are some steps when going out. If you have heavy luggage, you need to carry it. When checking in, there was an old man to help carry the luggage. When leaving, the girl at the front desk said to help carry it, but it was embarrassing to let him do it. [When I first checked in, I was given a Hada with a sense of ceremony. The result was more outrageous. When the room was cleaned, it was taken back without telling us! Moreover, the Hada was of very poor quality. I couldn't find it for a long time when I checked out on the third day. It's outrageous that this happened in a five-star hotel...] When we arrived at the hotel at night, there were no street lights on. It was raining heavily, and we had to use flashlights to walk It's called a hotel, but it can be regarded as a homestay. It doesn't deserve the five-star rating. If I had to do it again, I would rather choose Moonlight Inn

A Tibetan-style hotel, I will stay here every time I go to Shangri-La. Convenient parking and close to the ancient city. Quiet, very quiet, a good night's sleep! The bedding is very comfortable, and the wet and dry bathrooms are separated. This time it was the Dragon Boat Festival, and the hotel was very considerate and gave us rice dumplings (heated). It was so thoughtful, I have to like it👍 The fatigue on the road will be healed here, and I will choose to stay here in the future!

This is truly a hidden gem hotel, conveniently located in Dukezong Ancient Town. We were traveling as a family, and the hotel was thoughtful enough to contact us by phone one day in advance to inform us of the precautions. It was really thoughtful. The butler service was perfect. As soon as our car arrived at the door, they immediately came to help with the luggage and introduced the hotel's facilities in detail after making the arrangements. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel environment is beautiful. You can take beautiful photos everywhere, and every corner is like a landscape painting. The breakfast has a rich variety. There is absolutely no disappointment here, I will definitely come again next time!

I have an amazing time even with all communication with the hotel had to be done via WeChat for translation. I suspect the hotel and the surrounding were not damaged by the fire as it remains in ******* style. There were many places to take photo in the surrounding area. The place is well equipped and well maintained. The staffs were nice people and ready to serve. They even arranged pick up on the day I arrive at the old town entrance and airport transfer for me on the my departure.

What an amazing place… the couple runs this place so wonderfully. The husband helps us to go to wonderful places. He drove us to see beautiful place and one remote place called bottomless lake . He brought his little daughter and there cute dog . We loved every minute of our stay . Important to mention that many scenic places in Shangri La has dangerous roads but the hotel owner drive us very careful and was very sensitive to our need’s. I really recommended this hotel to foreigners even though we didn’t speed Chinese and they didn’t speak English we had everything we needed. The owner couple are wonderful people and they keep a very clean modern home stay ! Highly recommended for a fantastic home stay and experience! My son was sad to say goodbye
