這次短途旅行，最幸運的是住在了暖泉古鎮西古堡內的昔古回院民宿，民宿主理人趙女士親自接待每位客人並耐心講解此地厚重的歷史文化，民宿的早餐安排了本地特色的小扁豆糊糊，健康又美味。最具特色的是西古回院民宿是原汁原味的古建改造而來，歲月無語文物能言，穿越時空與今人相見。
