"I stayed in Berlin for a short weekend as a female solo traveller and got so lucky with this hotel. I was initially apprehensive due to the location but took a leap of faith because of the pictures 😅 and I would stay again! Mind you it was my second time in Berlin so I am familiar with the city, but not this area. The area is a lil sketchy at night but you just need to cross the road from the subway station (which is a main road with loads of people around!) The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, amenities provided in the little kitchenette including teabags, nescafe coffee machine etc. Room was cleaned daily with amenities topped up and front desk staff were nice. Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely return :)"

"I really liked the location. Its excellent bus connections made getting to the city center very easy. Having bakeries and shops right nearby was also very convenient. My requests made in advance, such as for three single beds, were accommodated, which I greatly appreciated. However, there were also a few downsides. The room's carpet was very stained and looked quite worn. The pictures available online seem to be outdated and don't accurately represent the current state of the room. Another issue was the elevator; it was very narrow and felt a bit unsafe. The hotel is well-suited for travelers simply looking for a clean bed for the night. The beds were clean, and the linen was changed daily. However, be aware that the rooms are not particularly inviting for longer stays. Overall, the hotel is a solid choice for a brief, no-frills stay if you're primarily there to sleep and don't expect luxurious amenities."

"A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead. That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am. At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort."

"After the step, the hotel's sanitation level was shocked. The hotel's facilities felt old. I saw the bathtub and wanted to take a bath, but the shower was very dirty. There would be black impurities flushing out with water.  The water turned black  When I took a bath, I felt uneasy. It was him who was closer to the nearest bus station. The only advantage "

"In my opinion, it's more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. Pros: a pleasant, new, large building very, very close to the Berlin central station, with platforms right outside the windows, which you can open. Cons: 1. Cleaning was done every few days, so we did not have a place to put all the trash, the trash bin was full after the first day. 2. The mattress was so soft it was impossible to sleep on it, and for the first time in my life, I ended up sleeping on the floor. 3. Breakfast, in my opinion, was like that of a 3-star hotel; almost everything contained a lot of sugar. The only hot dishes were eggs, sausages, and meatballs, nothing else, not even mushrooms. 4. I really disliked the way guests were treated during breakfast, when part of the restaurant was closed off to fill completely the rest. Only when the next guests arriving had nowhere to sit was the rest of the room made available. Because tables were placed in a way that three tables touched each other, many people had to sit next to sick and coughing strangers because there was no room to move. I have never encountered such behavior, even in one-star hotels, and I find it outrageous in a hotel that costs 200 euros per night. 5. There is a tram running very close to the hotel, it makes a lot of noise, more than trains from the station."

"It was a pity that there was a sour smell from the pot and teacups and that there was no heating, but the service was good and I was able to sleep well in a spacious room for the price."

"I thought the hotel was excellent value - the room was on the small side and maybe a little cramped for 2 people, but it was totally managable. Everything in the room and bathroom worked well, except the air-conditioning did not get as cold as we like back in the USA. Small USB travel fans at night helped us just fine . The food at the breakfast was excellent, a very large variety and plenty to eat. Great coffee! I would recommend this hotel because the location is great - easy to access transit and you can walk to many museums and attractions in about 20 minutes."

"I left after the first night and requested a refund from my booking agent. The carpet in the room was not cleaned when I checked in. The house cleaning person came when we were already in the room and we stepped out for food and she vacuumed. The room smelled like sewage. A young man poured something into the shower drain and sprayed the bathroom with an air freshener to keep down the bad scent. That did not last for more than 20 minutes. I left because a man in the reception area the night I checked in was very rude (Disrespectful) when I tried talking to him. In the end, I booked a room and checked in the next morning at the Hampton By Hilton and I had no regrets. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Loved this hotel, great staff the restaurant downstairs was fabulous and reasonably priced, room was well appointed and very comfortable beds, we will be looking for more best western hotels in the future."

"Had a good time, low season so not much happening in the hotel if you were interested in having some drinks at the bar. We tried breakfast, good choice and amount for the price. Jacuzzi was nice , the gym had enough machines to workout the minimum. All staff was nice and polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend ."
