Ich logierte im November 2022 für zwei Nächte im Hotel am Hirschgarten. Daran habe ich nichts auszusetzen. Das Zimmer war einwandfrei. Die Damen am Empfang waren ausgesprochen freundlich. Woran ich allerdings viel auszusetzen habe, ist das kärgliche Frühstücksbuffet. Selten habe ich ein so ”einfaches” Buffet zu sehen bekommen. Gekochte, kalte Eier auf einem Teller. Meine Frage, ob es auch Eierbecher gibt, wurde mit einem klaren ”Nein” beantwortet. In einem Körbchen lagen lediglich, vermutlich aufgebackenen Brötchen. Die sich beim Aufschneiden wie Gummibälle verhielten. Kein Graubrot, kein Toast, kein Croissant, an ein Stückchen Kuchen war gar nicht zu denken. Yoghurt oder Müsli? Fehlanzeige. Die üblichen abgepackten Marmeladen, Aprikose, Heidelbeere, Sauerkirsche. Phantasieloser geht es nicht. - Sollte ich wieder einmal in der Gegend sein und dort übernachten müssen, gerne wieder im ”Hirschgarten”. Aber zum Frühstücken gehe ich dann in eine nahegelegene Bäckerei.

We were around satisfied with the hotel. The room (double room with balcony) had a good size, comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom and a proper balcony. The service was very nice. The location was excellent for our purposes. The S-Bahn line with line to the airport and main station is walking two minutes. The car takes 10 minutes to the SI center and you are also close to the motorway. Breakfast was also absolutely appropriate to the three stars. Parking was available, both in the hotel's garage and on the nearby railway road. Stuttgart is generally very expensive, for this the price was relatively well as absolutely well. The free parking in the garage/gate is of course additional to that.

It's maybe not as easy to get to and from the airport if you don't have a car or know the bus / rail system. But it's not bad. Once you're there, it's clean and a comfy bed. There are a few shops around and the area is quiet. Overall not bad and once you know how to get there totally fine.

The hotel is in an industrial area, there is no convenient living facilities on the edge, there is free parking, suitable for self-driving. The facilities in the hotel are not bad, the rooms are large and have simple kitchen equipment

Gutes Frühstück, gemütliche Zimmer , S-Bahn Richtung Stuttgart entweder mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß (ca.20 Minuten) zu erreichen, Flughafen auch in der Nähe und ebenfalls mit der SBahn gut zu erreichen. Ideal für ein Kurztrip

Hotel is not in walking distance of airport No menu for room service in room Mini QR code on one of the folders- hard to find. Should be explained at check-in Room service poor. Food arrived cold twice. Drink was forgotten Waitress wanted to collect cash although the credit card was swiped for additional expenses Cleaning of the room appalling- they only made the bed nothing else Still hair in the sink, toilet lid open, toilet paper not adjusted, cosmetic towel dispenser still empty, bread crumbs on the floor, dirty cups still on the table, coffee packs not replaced Shoes were still in the middle of the room Crumbs on the table

If you have an early morning flight to the airport, this hotel is the best choice. it is located directly across from Terminal 1. Room size is nice and is very clean.
I have small critic points though. The sauna is closed due to covid. please list this on website. if you are arriving there via public transportation, you have to walk long set of stairs to get in. This is despite there is being side entrance which gives access to the registration. it is locked with only access from inside. I had to access the hotel via the main entrance and let my wife and daughter in. Very inconvenient if you alone. No one to stay with the luggage.
