breakfast was good but could use more staf, the one working there was often alone while it was very busy'the lady at the reception was very unfriendly, and we felt treated as little kids. our room was clean, but outdated and not everything was safe to use for example. there was a coffee pot but the handle of the pot was broken. light bulb in lamp did not work, we mentioned it at the reception, and got a snobby reply, but it was not get replaced.

We had a nice weekend in the hotel. We are travelling with 10 people who are all vegans, except the 2 children, 2 extra sugar-free. These special wishes were fantasticly implemented by the kitchen. You need to highlight the service. All the people who served us were extraordinarily friendly, personal and helpful. We must emphasize Mrs Auerhahn whose charm and kindness are not to overcome. The swimming pool is very small, that should be known.

Hotel was probably very impressive in 2009 but is now a little dated. The hotel is quite large and very clean but the environment surrounding the hotel is disappointing. The hotel has two saunas but one of the two did not work unfortunately. The hotel restaurant was great and food also decent enough but the breakfast is amazing. Also we had a broken showerhead which was disappointing. Also the charger for electric vehicle had one broken only one of the two in the basememt worked. However... The staff and people working here are amazing and very friendly so we still give four stars even though some aspects of our stay were a little disappointing

There really is nothing physically wrong with this property. A nice looking property that is not really old and with decent facilities. Guest rooms are a bit small but appropriate for the Mercure brand and quit well appointed and A/C that works. No, the issues are all related how this property is run. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are simply not clean, with dirty toilets and mold on the tile. The wall mounted shampoo container was empty upon arrival and never replenished. If one takes a closer look at the overall quality of housekeeping in the rooms, once comes to the conclusion that it really is quite terrible. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and in desperate need of shampooing or replacing. The property has a ” great room” that is used for meetings and get togethers. But it is also used for screaming children early in the morning, although this room is surrounded by an atrium arrangement with many guest rooms. Net, net - this property needs to either step up or find a new management company. The only positive I can come up with is that the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

We wouldn't even visit this one night at the hotel for a private celebration. The horrible end was the locked breakfast that cannot be harmonised with the price called. At the neighbouring table a lady asked for a grain bread, this was denied. There was no breakfast buffet, but was served after a order! How long the sauce and cheese had been “uncooled” at the table, of course, it is not possible to see. I find this inappropriate and obvious austerity under the cover “Corona” completely in addition, as well as the very (!) unfriendly service (grey hair) in the dining room. There would be an urgent need for coaching! Humanly defect! Unfortunately, the limited time for breakfast was not informed us in advance. The speech with the notice was accordingly unprofessional and aggressive. I have not experienced something after countless hotel stays. I ask quite simple and simple things: friendliness (not cost). A suitable choice at breakfast! Conclude: Coaching staff (friendly) ++++++ Improve breakfast performance because it is defect. Note: Whoever wants to have breakfast in a pleasant and friendly environment in the morning and wants to find a “normal” selection is wrong here!
