I've been coming here for three years now, staying for a month twice a year. The hotel is on the first line, the beach is very well protected from the wind, which is especially important in winter in Hurghada. The food is no frills, but you won't leave hungry. In winter there are very few guests, but I find this to be a huge advantage. First of all, it's very quiet here. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this hotel is for you. The staff is friendly. There is hot water in the rooms, there are no problems with it. Secondly, the rooms are cozy for this price. If the purpose of your trip is diving or excursions, and you do not require luxury rooms, come here. Thirdly, usually, like the wind at sea, hotels immediately raise a red flag, and that’s it. The sea is closed to you. Here - welcome to the sea, there will be no questions for you. Nearby is Hurghada city center, with a supermarket. You can always buy what you need.

I stayed with a group for a few days and then extended my stay for another day. The price tripled on New Year's Eve. I was exhausted after a day at sea. When I came back for dinner, I was not allowed in. I was told to go back to the room to find the invitation card... The whole New Year's Eve event was not good.

Really great resort. We’ve stayed for a month and it exceeded our expectations. Room was clean and spacious, it was not too crowded, food was great and with the animation team there was no day boring. We had so much fun! Great quality for price. We will definitely come back.

The place is awesome for budget travelers! We had the pool for ourselves the whole time!! the pool was clean and the chilling area was beautiful. The location is really great, it’s close to the sea and downtown. The marine is also close by. The staff is very friendly as well. The rooms are old and outdated but they do the job haha. I highly recommend this hotel for people looking for a cheap but great hotel. I wouldn’t recommend getting food from the hotel (the breakfast I had with them was mediocre at best) and there are MANY restaurants and fast food places close by.

It was our 3rd visit t Desert Rose and it just gets better. We absolutely love this place, the staff are great and very welcoming. There is always plenty of food to eat you cannot go hungry always something for everyone. Lots of things to do or you can just relax if you wish. Plenty of security making guests feel safe at all times. The Guest Relations staff (Lucia) extremely helpful and always going the extra mile. Everywhere is lovely and clean, pools are fantastic. Lots to do for kids too. We will definitely be booking for a 4th time as cannot get enough of Desert Rose.

Facilities: The facilities are quite complete, the suite is large, and the living room and activity area are large. 2 bathrooms
Hygiene: Average, normal for this Egyptian group hotel
Service: The service attitude is good, the front desk clerk speaks good English. We missed the bus to go out to the sea, so the front desk helped us call a taxi to the beach and explained the route and fare to the driver. We didn't have time to have breakfast the next day because we had to catch a flight, so we also prepared a takeaway breakfast in advance.

The hotel is very beautiful, showing off the beauty of the sunrise over the Red Sea. There are three swimming pools, which are large and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is of high quality, especially the buffet. I hate buffets, but this high-quality and extremely rich buffet can last for several days.

The aqua park is triple the size , there is elevators on all games , there is parts for kids and adults and art room for drawing , play station , fun is the only you do from the early morning till you go to sleep , the latest upgrade was the midway which is amusement park for after sunset activity with plenty of games all included in your Stay , even they don’t forget cotton candy and pop corn all the time , ice cream , crepe , waffle ,
The restaurant every where , I can’t say how many , because I don’t have time to attended all of them , but more than 12 restaurant and cafe , I am trying to look for missing item but there is only perfection ,

I came to sunrise garden beach on the 15/11/24 for a month. When we arrived we didn’t get a welcome drink, then I was given 2nd floor when I asked for low floor in my booking due to operation. It took 3 day’s to move me. My suitcases was left outside my apartment door for over an hour no one told me they was taking them to my room as we went for food after leaving home at 6am and not getting to hotel till 4.45 pm. Then after being on holiday for 4 days I came down with stomach cramps, I went to pharmacy in senza mall told the pharmacy I was allergic to penicillin, showed him on my phone so he knew for sure, he gave me antibiotics. I started the antibiotics the next morning at 8am by 11am my heart rate was 110 I felt really ill so went lay on my bed got my daughter to phone my doctor at home who notified me not to take anymore as the antibiotics contained penicillin an was dangerous for me to take an to seek medical advice straight away. I saw my rep who took me to doctors on site at 5pm by this time my heart rate had come down so I made a formal complaint. As for hotel an management all staff + Animation team have been great food great chef who looked after me. Flying home 13/12/24 we booked for 4 weeks. Bar staff in reception excellent.Gamal & Abdo. Cleaning in room excellent room’s nice plenty space beds uncomfortable glad we got good weather 🌞

GGuest UserThe room was so spacious, I was a solo traveler, but the room was big enough for 4 people. The room had its own walk in closet, and the bathroom was great. Shower space was huge, also had a spot to sit/ lie down whilst showering. There was also a nice balcony overseeing the resort. The rooms were cleaned everyday, I had a guy named Sabary cleaning my room, who is a top bloke, extremely hard working, and he could speak 4 languages (Arabic, English, Russian and German). He tried his absolute best to keep the rooms clean, and to ensure you were enjoying yourself. The food was great, there was a huge variety, the aqua park and pools were awesome. Everything about this resort was just brilliant.

AAaronI stayed at this hotel for 6 nights for my partner’s birthday. From the time I got there the hotel was very helpful with giving us a upgraded room and then going further to decorate the room/bed with heart pillows and pillow doves. They also provided a birthday cake twice on the day we arrived and on her birthday which we couldn’t be anymore thank you. I want to give a big shoutout to Mohammed the room cleaner, everyday was a surprise coming back into the bedroom he would decorate the room/bed with towels making different animals etc. Food buffet was really nice also had ice cream. ( I would say the hotel should make it so guest can get scoops for ice cream during the day not only for dinner) you get ice cream during the day but it’s ice cream lollipops etc. animation team was really good always involving everyone, want to say a shoutout to all the animation team especially mo salah, high energy and kept everyone very entertained. The beach is sandy! The photos don’t do it justice as the photos I saw online shows it to be stone beach with a bit of sand. The WiFi is good for a hotel which can be used on the beach. We was able to get a sun bed everyday by the many pools and beach. Nothing to fault this hotel was really amazing! (That’s coming from someone who only stays at high quality hotels).

AAntonio TravelsHighly recommend especially if you are a family with young kids. We went as a group of friends and still enjoyed it, the water park has slides suitable for adult fun and also kids with a special area for kids only. The only negative is that the beach is a bit of q walk away, however there are consistent shuttle buses. The reception team and manager are very polite and helpful, the life guards and water slide guards are all very nice and are there for your safety and happiness. The food was amazing, there is also food all afternoon by the pool. Pools are big and there are more than one with an all adult only pool for pure relaxation. Very safe resort just keep your belongings near to you. I want to give the biggest thanks to the animation team, they are the ones who made this holiday, from day time entertainment to evening shows and night outs, they truly look after you from their hearts wanting you to have a great time in Egypt. Big thanks to Moose, Kariam, Omar and David. I very highly recommend this resort.

Speaking of diving, the dive center in Hilton is a pit. We collected money for 5 dives, but only arranged 4 dives. The person who collected the money pretended to help us check the exchange rate and over quoted us the price. Fortunately, the locals had been scammed by the locals before. After checking it, he told him that the price was wrong, and he said that he had calculated it wrong. And when diving on the first day of the two dives, there is still 100-120bar before the boat rises, and there is no reason. On the second day, another dive guide kept asking us to buy a photo package instead of throwing the phone on the spot. It was a very poor experience.
The hotel’s private beach is not very good, the water is muddy, there is nothing to see when snorkeling, and there is no living creatures. The water quality is not as good as the hotel’s private beach in the city center.
The only bit of food is okay. But the beer is mixed with water.
Will not book this hotel again, and will not recommend it to anyone, who is going to be stupid.

The breakfast could be more varied but there is plenty to eat. The hotel has such a medieval style, so despite the fact that it is already old, small damaged furniture, doors and the like fit into the atmosphere. Imaginative. Lots of comfortable sun loungers. Lots of sea. Few pools. There is a piece of the reef. The vendors on the site are not intrusive. I missed coffee and tea in the restaurant during lunch and dinner. Generally, you can safely come. Although you can see some savings due to the situation in the world. And ... and renovations are underway. So they will improve.
