"Very friendly staff. Welcoming and very co-operative. Hotel very modern, nicely refurbished, absolutely excellent full breakfast and room spotlessly clean. Nice swimming pool outside with sliding roof, very sunny location. Good gym. Local facilities, many restaurants nearby, large shopping centre close and IKEA nearby walking distance. Hotel located some miles from town centre but cabs no problem and bus stop 20 mins walk. All staff speak English. Most enjoyable stay."
"We were going for an event, we arrived very late, and we were given a room with two double beds. We had hired a wedding room and we were immediately changed them. The staff were very friendly. The room was a little small, the large bathroom, but without shower.
The best breakfast. All super rich. From outstanding ...the best of our stay, no doubt. "
"I stayed in several places in Spain. Ibis is a well-known chain of budget hotels in Europe. The facilities and services are all in a unified style. I am satisfied with it."
"The hotel is not in the downtown area of Valencia, it is in a town between the city and Torrent. In general, it is quite satisfactory. There are supermarket gas stations nearby. It takes about 11 euros to take a taxi from the train station. Win at cheap price"
"The room with fresh repair, clean, everything is in good condition. 10 minutes walk from the supermarket. Near the bus stop, you can get to the center, no transfer, 2530 minutes. Buses are good, with air conditioning. I recommend this hotel if you are not embarrassed by a bus trip to the sights."
"Exceeded my expectations! Can highly recommend.
I booked double-bed room, but hotel connected with me in a few days saying it's not available and suggested me a triple-bed room instead for the same price or full refund (though my booking was non-refundable). I accepted the new room and it was just great! Panoramic windows almost like a balcony. Very clean and comfortable bed. Fridge right in my room! And microwave in the corridor (though one was not connected to the electricity - the other one on the floor was). It would be great to have a teapot, too (but I managed to heat water in the microwave). Excellent wifi. Host was very nice and explained everything upon check-in, self check-out early in the morning is available. Shower gel & shampoo provided. Would be great to have cups to put toothbrush.
It can be noisy outside (2nd floor), but I closed the windows and it was calm. You can hear doors clapping from other neighbors- though it's not surprising for the hotel.
District is great - Consum supermarket just 1 min by walk, Mercadona - 5 mins. Lots of cafes around. Metro 5 mins by walk, city center 30 mins by walk, very convenient to get to the railway station."
"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Spain. It's not cheap, and the hardware is just so-so. If you add a little more, you can live in a much better place. I don't recommend it. "I must give a great review to Malcolm and Barrett Hotel! The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, and they quickly arranged the check-in, which instantly eliminated the fatigue of the long journey.
The room is spacious and bright, the decoration is simple and elegant, and the details show the quality. The bed is comfortable, the supplies are neat, and the facilities such as smart TV, high-speed network, and mini bar are all available to meet all kinds of needs.
The catering is even better, with rich breakfast, and Western food and local specialties are exquisite and delicious. The restaurant environment is elegant, the service is thoughtful, and the dining experience is excellent. The hotel is in a superior location, with convenient transportation around, and attractions and shopping malls are close at hand, making travel very convenient.
Malcolm and Barrett Hotel is impeccable. Whether it is business or vacation, it is an excellent choice. I am looking forward to staying there next time!"
"At that time, I was looking for a youth travel. I lived alone. The overall feeling was not bad. The service staff were young and good communication. The bad thing is that the plane outside is very loud and the sound insulation is not very good."
