I had a fantastic time here. The staff were very accommodating, the room was big, cosy and quiet, the spa facilities were relaxing, and it was a 3 minute walk to the small town and beach. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Duqesa for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Rooms are spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. They are very well equipped with a lovely cool bedroom and a very powerful shower in bathroom. There is a lovely rooftop pool with plenty of beds and never overly busy. The location is perfect for us as a short walk to marina, bars and restaurants and the beach. The road noise is loud but you are bang in the centre. What really makes this hotel is the amazing staff. Have travelled all over and never had as lovely friendly obliging staff. Catered to our every need with a friendly smile and chat every day. Yolanda, Rene, Walid and Tony, it was a pleasure to meet you all.

Good location in Santa Eulalia, for me the best area of ​​Ibiza if you are looking to go with your partner or family. The breakfast was excellent! Although if I had to give a suggestion, it would be that they put fresh orange juice. The check in was great, they had availability and they gave us the room before the hour. For check out, they had rooms available and made us pay €10 an hour from 12 until we left. We have a baby and we needed the room until after lunch to take him changed to the airport. I understand that if there is no availability, they don't do it... or that if you want to leave at 6 pm, they charge you something, but for a short time it seems ridiculous to me. I have an accommodation, and as long as there is availability it is not difficult for me to let my guests leave later.

This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. Great location with easy access to Ibiza tourist areas. Lovely hotel with great staff a few small issues, no tea/coffee facilities in rooms, uncomfortable pool beds, lack of bar serving staff. Beautiful hotel with fantastic rooms, breakfast perfect

Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

This place was obviously old but very well updated and appointed. Some might call it quaint. The hotel staff was very accommodating, professional and pleasant, and for the most part spoke English well which made communication less of a challenge. We had a booking discrepancy which necessitated a larger room, fortunately we were able to move into the two bed premier unit which by my standards was very nice. The AC cooled the room off exceptionally well, the windows and balcony doors were all new with double insulated panes and sound trim insulation. The balcony overlooked the square which tended to be noisy throughout the night but not so much that sleep could not be attained. Obviously this facility has no control of people in the square. The rest of the room touted a nicely decorated and well designed living space, and a ceiling fan that could really move some air, the bathroom was newly redesigned and also very nice. Plenty of hot water, not that we needed it in this summer 2022 heat wave. Parking was a challenge, we rented a car when we arrived and street parking was nearly impossible. Lot parking was 38e/night. The upside is with a receipt the hotel reimbursed that expense which was a pleasant discovery. Would definitely stay here again. I had zero concerns or complaints about this hotel. Side note for other Americans contemplating to rent a car or not. I suggest that you do. Parking, though not convenient but reimbursed makes it worth it and getting around the island via one of maybe three taxis would be crazy expensive and not worth the time standing around wasting. Driving is easy after you realize how the roads are laid out IE mostly one ways, the triangles on the road mean you yield at that intersection AND pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. Scooters and motorcycles will pass you up on the left and right so just keep an eye out. Once out of downtown Ibiza driving is much more relaxing and easy, the rest of the island is an easy and relatively care free cruise. The sunset at Cafe Del Mar is greeted with cheers nightly and an accompanying beat from the club. I would like to come back here again for a longer stay. A full month would suffice.

I used it on my honeymoon. It was clean and stylish, and the front desk staff was very kind and fun, making my stay easy. He gave me great recommendations for walking around town and restaurants, and I had some great memories. Also, when I informed them that I would not be able to eat the breakfast I had booked because I was leaving early on the check-out day, I was very impressed that they prepared bread and drinks like a lunch box when I checked out.
