This was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . Thank you for an enjoyable stay .

My parents (70s), sister and our daughters (7,9) found this traditional family run hotel to be very friendly and perfect for our 4 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble, My dad asked to borrow a kettle and a corkscrew, both loaned with smiles. The staff are professional and courteous. Yes it's slightly dated but we enjoyed our stay more than a previous stay in a shiny, modern, rather impersonal hotel. The location is perfect, the breakfast traditional and plentiful. Our rooms suited us. My parents had a balcony looking over the square at the front of the hotel. We had a huge suite with plenty of space, no balcony but with 2 young children, we didn't miss it as we couldn't sit still for too long!!! The communal areas are homely, there are bikes to hire and a pool table. There was some noise overnight, from others moving around I think but earplugs sorted that, plus tiredness from swimming in the sea! I would stay here again.

We are currently in the Amfora Beach. Staying here for 10 nights. Booked three rooms. Since we checked in on Saturday in our room we have slept with thick black mould and spores on the partition wall between the bathroom and the bedroom. We have reported this and it was partly wiped off but still several spores and black visible. We reported it again today and explained the cause is due to the bathroom door not closing. We were promised a ”technician” would look at it. We explained myself and my partner suffer asthma and emphysema and this is detrimental to our health. We ard both now wheezing. We returned this evening to find nothing has been done. On asking again at reception thd technician was unavailable and it might be done tomorrow. Explaining again the risk to our breathing, my partner was met with ”si, si”.. It seems the only way we may get a response is through this forum as clearly the reception team do not realise the seriousnes of the situation. We have paid a considerable sum for three very small rooms that do not appear to merit the 4 star tag and the least we would expect t is they would be clean and safe.

Great hotel, loads of facilities, great location (I think 5-10 min from airport by car/taxi and same distance walking to the beach). Tbh I normally dont do reviews, not bads not good reviews, I am too lazy for that lol, but this hotel really deserves a good review. I went on my own and just 4 nights so I was a little bit hesitant because I didnt want to feel awkward so I looked for an hotel that has everything and they had it, from the staff that all of them were so friendly and helpful (I felt even spoiled), the location, the food ( buffets for breakfast and dinner with lots of variety and different themes of food very night for dinner), the facilities (2 jacuzzi, sauna, 3 pools) and the entertainment were excellent, I definitely will go again but with family and I will stay at least for a week

It's 10 minutes from the airport and close to Palma City, so the location is very good. Because it's the sea in front, you can also watch the sea for breakfast I did yoga every morning while watching the sun rise on the terrace, and I was so happy that I could drink wine while listening to the sound of the waves on the terrace in the evening. The swimming pool is very small and the surrounding beach is so beautiful that I didn't use it. It was like an old building, but it was clean and the food was delicious. The bed and bedding were great, and above all, it was spacious and had two closets, so it was enough to use with friends. I was able to lie on the bed and see the sea right away. But the next room and the terrace are really close and you have to be careful because they look like they're all together. There is no parking lot, but the front desk staff kindly guided me so I could park well in the free parking area. If you go to Google navigation, you will be informed of the wrong road (the seaside road that cannot be driven by car), so you must enter the road outside one block from the seaside. Free parking area is easy to find around the hotel. It was a hotel I found in a hurry just before my trip, but it was a very satisfying stay.

Amazing apartment hotel 15 min from Palma city center. The view from (all) the rooms is incredible, the front desk staff (Andrea & Co) are the best and the house keeping crew does an excellent job and are always super friendly and helpful. Rooms are fresh, good standard with proper kitchen and comfortable beds. The balconies and terraces are fantastic with the larger suites equipped with whirlpools. The hotel is literally on the the beach. Highly recommended for families, couples or group of friends. We will keep coming back!

YYITINGA better hotel for half a month, clean and hygienic ~ Close to the airport, good English at the front desk, and the bus is actually very convenient ~ It would be better to book a room with full sea view ... Breakfast is a bit average ...

GGuest UserThis was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . Thank you for an enjoyable stay .

GGuest UserThe hotel was decent, nothing super special. I had booked through a third party and I booked one room, no mention of how many people I was booking for. I booked a double room that fits 2 people. When I check in, I was told that I didn’t specify 2 people in the reservation so I needed to pay more for the room (even though the room was for 2 people). I will also note there was an advertised fee to use safes at the hotel and to use an iron, they needed 10€ cash on hold to use it. The decor and finishes in the hotel were outdated but it was great being close to the beach. There was no beach access from the hotel (if there was it wasn’t outlined anywhere) so it was hard to come in from the beach sandy & wet. We were on the top floor but our ceiling was leaking from the lightbulbs in the ceiling. We put in a request to get it fixed and it was fixed the same day. The staff however were extremely kind. The morning reception group were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had many options and the staff was so helpful, diligent to keep everything orderly, and nice. Manuel at the bar was so great and friendly! We loved seeing him when he was working and he made great drinks!

GGuest UserQuick transfer from airport and quick check in. Everything was good. The hotel is clean and up to date (not brand new but not old and tired either). Good beds/towels/cleaning staff. Small hotel and good soundproofing. Mainly couples staying and quiet at night. A few restaurants around the hotel but none worth mentioning. Good thing was that with 11 euros we could get into the centre of Palma.
