The hotel is on the main street, and easy to find. Plenty of on street free parking ( Jan 2022 ). Large room allocated on high floor ( there is a small lift ), with views over the mountains in the distance. Good sized bathroom with shower. Excellent and very informative check in. Hotel is shoe themed, as the town is a large producer of shoes. There is also free access to the municipal spa on request. A good breakfast was also provided.

We traveled on motorbikes and stopped in front of the hotel. The receptionist told us that there was no problem, they paid attention, and we were calmer.

On the first floor, there seems to be no elevator, but very few.
The rooms are nice and quiet, with refrigerators, plus points.
The only downside is the bathroom. It has a mini bathtub with a screen, so the shower is uncomfortable. The others are very good.

I commented on the girl who was at reception...absolutely disappointed ... it seemed so that the room had been used by another client, unsleeved bed, unclean bathroom paperboard, sensation of lack and dirt, antique, The door was fallen, the curtains were equal, the TV didn't work...,zero maintenance ...the truth my feeling, the worst ...the worst accommodation in contrast to all of those I have visited. I should have made photos, but I didn't think it. I ...not recommend it. Location is good, that's right. The girl from the educated reception, but taking both the bar and hotel ... ¡chasco!

A traditional hotel, perhaps I should say a traditional Parador, with everything that one associates with these: lots of olde worlde touches in the public areas, and lots of very dark wood in the bedroom. Yet this wasn’t an historic Parador, in a castle or convent from the 16th century, being barely 100 years old. Or should I say the rooms, plural? We had what was really a suite, with a bedroom well furnished with an interesting ornately carved headboard (but not a king-sized bed, to our surprise), opening out on to a large sitting room, again well furnished. There were so many chairs and sofas that we could seat 8 people in cushioned armchair or sofa comfort, 9 if one sat on the hard chair by the desk. 😊 The bathroom was large and well equipped with good towels. The bar cum cafeteria was very pleasant, as was the dining room, which served standard solid Parador food.
