The hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Barcelona, but you can take the R1 from the train station, which is about a 15-minute walk, to many of the main sites and attractions. Matarò itself is a beautiful corner and really worth seeing. The equipment of the room is rather simple: a simple hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo and a small TV with local channels are available. All employees including cleaning staff are very friendly and always available and helpful. The doors of the hotel are so ”locked” after 00:00 that one can only enter by ringing the bell. The door is always opened quickly, so you don't have to wait long

We were looking for a hotel out of the City bustle but with good Metro links. We were checked in by a very surly membe of the Reception team and had no further contact with Reception until we checked out 5 days later. Large, comfortable rooms although very limited wardrobe and drawer space. We upgraded to a Marina view room which gave us superb views day and night - also a lovely balcony for enjoying a picnic lunch and evening drinks. The bathroom was huge although the lighting not the best. Breakfast was well organised with tables available outside and inside. A couple of mornings we think they had recruited some agency staff to check guest's room numbers as they arrived. Unfortunately they were dressed in their black agency uniforms clutching a clipboard and looked more like maintenance staff or security guards - not acceptable in a 4 star hotel. The Metro station is opposite the hotel and just a 5 minute walk without luggage but around 10 minutes if you don't wish to use the stair way underpass.

We checked in for one night, the hotel is OK for a stop over, room is very basis but clean, hotel is very out of the way, we did not go for breakfast it was €6.50 each for a continental breakfast with very little choice, but there was free coffee at reception 24/7. The receptionist was very friendly.

Mi esposo y yo nos alojamos en el pack de escapada gastronómica de este hotel de Cataluña y fue una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos muy acogidos y cómodos en nuestra habitación lujosa y espaciosa. Pero lo mejor de todo fue la comida. La experiencia gastronómica ofrecida por el hotel es simplemente impresionante, con platos deliciosos y variados que destacan la riqueza culinaria de la zona del Maresme. Los ingredientes eran frescos y el personal de la cocina siempre estaba atento a nuestras necesidades. Además, el personal del hotel en general fue muy amable y servicial, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos en cualquier momento. En general, mi esposo y yo recomendamos encarecidamente este pack de escapada gastronómica a cualquier pareja que busque una experiencia culinaria única y relajante cerca de Barcelona. Sin duda, volveremos en el futuro.

Vraiment sympa. Minimaliste mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Parking, proche du métro pour Barcelone. Vraiment appréciable et pas cher. Nous le recommandons pour visiter la région. Pour nous le fait d’avoir un parking est primordial. Et la proximité des transports publics également. Avec vue sur la mer.
