The room type of the picture we lived in, on the left is the doorway to the parking lot, and we carry our luggage out here when we leave. On the right is the bathroom, which is quite large and has a heater. It is estimated that you can not be afraid of cold in winter. Behind is the doorway and writing desk leading to the corridor, which is very comfortable.

Good clean hotel/motel with polite helpful staff, comfortable bedrooms with ensuites. Good breakfast room with a good variety of food. Dinner is available. The hotel is in a retail location, well sound proofed and easy to find with many facilities in the vicinity. We have visited this hotel and others in the area but value for money and courtesy this hotel is the best. Not expensive.

After a long drive from Dieppe I arrived tired and hungry, front of house & waiter Christophe was fantastic efficient and polite, he even translated that evenings menu in English for me as my French is poor. If you are traveling to the southwest of France or Spain and have to sleep for a night, this is an excellent hotel in view of the price. The hotel is new, located next to the motorway and in front of the HyperU. The room and bathroom is super clean and the bed is fine. Good Wi-Fi. And parking before the door. If you have a buffalo, you will drive in 5-10 minutes to the centre of Saintes, a nice place with fine restaurants. In Saintes you can park at the cathedral.

Quel plaisir de retrouver chaque année le même confort (chambre spacieuse, salle de bain, literie), la même qualité de service (petit déjeuner copieux et varié, accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, clim allumée par le personnel afin qu'à notre retour, la température de la chambre soit super agréable), une propreté irréprochable... et tant d'autres choses. Et tous les ans, une petite nouveauté : cette année, des places de parking numérotées afin que chacun puisse se garer facilement (sauf si d'autres clients peu attentifs vous ”piquent” votre place :-) Rien de bien grave en temps de vacances. Nous reviendrons l'an prochain...sauf erreur de calcul, cela fera la 10è année. Au plaisir de vous revoir

GGuest UserI stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter in the first week in July. It's in a great position, down a beautiful street & a short walk to all the bustling restaurants along the port. The lady at check in was really lovely, friendly & informative (& again when we came back one night wanting a hot drink to take up to bed with us she helped us with this). The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable (I'm a bit fussy when it comes to what I sleep on but I had a great night sleep). We stayed midweek and didn't experience any issues with noise outside. The walls are a little thin and on rare occasions could hear next door but this didn't bother us at all & what this place offered overall more than made up for it. The shower cubicle was small so wouldn't suit everyone. I've been to La Rochelle many times and stayed at various hotels each time depending on who I'm traveling with (as a couple or large group). This place ticked all of the boxes and we weren't disappointed. On another note: I usually take a taxi from the airport but the queue was horrendous and after half an hour we decided to jump on the bus (it was Illico 1b) and it took us only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel from the Dames Blanches/St Nicholas bus stop....for under 2 euros each...so I'd do this again just to save taxi time, regardless of cost. Recommend this hotel....and of course beautiful La Rochelle. Ps. there's a lovely, buzzy restaurant opposite too with yummy food...it was packed so we had to take ourselves off to a nearby bar to have a drink & wait...worth it though as restaurant had great atmosphere. Enjoy!

GGuest UserI really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc

The hotel is very easy to access almost directly to the main lines to reach for example La Rochelle. ____________________ The hotel and the home ---------- Standard B&B in all respects, very good welcome, modern reception room with a large breakfast area. Elevators to access the rooms ____________________ Room ---------- Standard room also, with ground moquette that produces no bad dust, well equipped with hang, TV, office, air conditioning! B&B is also a very standard bathroom with the problem of the shower that wets the whole bathroom. ____________________ RESTAURATION ---------- A breakfast service is offered in the form of sugar/salt buffet. Very good variety with winemakers, cakes, cold and hot drinks, brown egg, bacon and sauce. Good products. ____________________ QUALITY/PRICE RAPPORT AND SERVICES ---------- Very good quality/price ratio and given the situation if you don't want to pay for being in the heart of La Rochelle, while having shops/restaurants next to. The Wi-Fi works very well except at the end of the evening when there is a world of connecting, it becomes slower. Distributors 24/24 in the reception room. ____________________ OVERSIGT ---------- It is probably a very good choice for a good quality hotel, not too expensive, in a large commercial area, not too far from La Rochelle. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient, really close to the center, and with some convenience stores near by. However, the ”studio” is actually a single room with a bed which takes all the space, a tiny kitchen space and a bathroom which has a lot of empty space, a tiny shower and a tiny basin. The window-door to the terrace cannot open fully because the bed is in it's way. Hardly any room to hang your clothes, the trash bin is actually set in the closet... Too bad the architect had no sense of practicallity. As i stayed ”only” one week, no cleaning was done for the room (not even once), and I hardly crossed any staff trhoughout my stay. The lady at the receptionist may need to have some english lessons so that she can feel more comfortable with tourists from other countires. In conclusion, disappointed and would not renew with this type of ”studio”.

GGuest UserTrès mauvaise prestation suite à notre passage nous avons été très déçu car arrivé sur les lieux nous avons pris possession de notre chambre la personne de l’accueil nous a indiqué qu’il n’y avait pas de serviette et il s’étonné que nous n’ayons pas été prévenu du coup nous avons dû passer notre séjour sans serviette Car la seule solution pour nous était d’acheter des serviettes sur place je trouve ça inconcevable pour une chambre à 68 € dans un hôtel entrée de gamme comme celui-ci ensuite nous prenons possession de notre chambre est là il n’y avait que quatre chaînes sur la télévision nous sommes partis voir gentiment la personne de l’accueil qui nous a dit que ça ne fonctionnait pas depuis longtemps qu’ils avaient contacté la personne mais que ça ne fonctionnait toujours pas mais là aussi quand on réserve aucune information À part pour prendre la carte bleue là tout est clair ! Je demande donc à la personne de l’accueil si il pouvait contacter quelqu’un pour essayer de nous trouver une solution alternative un changement de chambre un dédommagement pour une prochaine nuit il me dit donc que c’est possible qu’il s’en occupe et que la personne qui arrivera le soir viendra me voir pour me faire un retour de ce qu’on lui a dit du coup j’attends 23 heures toujours personne je décide donc d’aller à l’accueil et là il me dit (non non de toute façon il n’y a aucune solution on peut rien faire pour vous c’est comme ça) Super sens commercial et quelle façon de parler Je vous rassure en tout cas ma carte bleue a bien été débité sans aucune erreur Je n’ai qu’une chose à dire fuyez cette hôtel qui se dit rénové sur sa page à fuir je n’ai pas beaucoup l’habitude de répondre à des enquêtes mais là c’est inacceptable
