Breakfast is OK, the room is good, suitable for children, safe. Without the elevator, it is necessary to carry the box, and the price of 95 Euro is a bit high. Close to the train station is the advantage

The hotel is in a very convenient position couple of minutes from the train station and just within the old walls of the old city. At check in, one of the staff had decent english so explained what was where in the old town and some recommendations. Outside of the hotel there are road works going on but room double glazed which made the soundproofing excellent. The only issue was the room was very hot/stuffy. Helpful to have a mini- fridge in room but it heats up the cupboard and the room. Everything within the old town is easily accessible as mostly pedestrianised and impossible to get lost. If you have got to the river, the road or the walls turn around! The hotel was good value and comfortable. I would not stay here for more than 3 or 4 days, but you only need a couple of days to see Arles so ideal for a brief visit. There are loads of places to eat nearby plus variety of small shops and a Monoprix on the roundabout. There was also a large outdoor market on the Wednesday we were there with loads of stalls selling everything from mattresses to bananas!

We stayed one night at this property before going on a river cruise. We arrived before check in time but the hotel owner was there and arranged to get our room ready for us. When she saw the size of our luggage, she upgraded us to a larger room. The room was still pretty small, but it's an historic building so that's to be expected. It was very comfortable, safe and quiet and met all our needs. The decor was very pretty. The restaurant was very good, with many of the foods made in their own kitchen. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy which was a big bonus for us. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, with a glass of wine, watching all the activity on the street. The location is perfect. A short and easy walk from the train station. And right inside the walls of the Old Town. Lots of quaint historic streets to stroll. The staff made this the perfect hotel for us. The owner was there much of the time. The desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They were all very patient with my attempts to speak French, but they were all much more bilingual than me. Being understood wasn't a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We loved staying here a pleasure from arrival to departure. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our large high-ceilinged room looked out over the Place du Forum with its busy street and cafe activity, it was a cool air-conditioned haven when the temperature was in the high 30s outside. We'd paid extra for a 'de luxe' room and were glad we did - stylish decor, lovely bathroom and plenty of space. Enormous comfortable bed. Good breakfasts with excellent coffee. Small but very welcome pool in an enclosed garden. The location was perfect - right in the heart of historic Arles but close to some very good restaurants and ice cream shops as well as the historic sights. This was really a most enjoyable place to stay - would whole-heartedly recommend it.

We had a bit of a problem with our room being on the main floor and facing the street. We like to sleep with the windows open a bit and being on the main floor made this uncomfortable for us. Since we were staying for a week, we asked if we could have a room on a higher floor. Since we prefer a room with two beds, The only room available was not great, but we managed. There are very nice rooms at the hotel, but #12 was not one of them, in our opinion. The breakfast was very nice with a lovely selection of baked goods, meat, cheese, fruit, delicious homemade yoghurt etc.. something for everyone! Hotel La Muette has a great central location, close to restaurants and local attractions. All the staff at the hotel were kind, helpful and professional. They also helped us with great restaurant suggestions. If our travels ever take us back to Arles, we would stay at Hotel la Muette. We would just be more careful with our room choice and location! A comfortable, convenient and colorful hotel experience awaits you at this small boutique hotel 2 blocks from Place Lamartine & a brief walk from the train station. The hotel faces Place Voltaire where you'll find several restaurants. 3 storeys each a different warm provincial color are accessed by stairs or a small elevator. A full library of architecture design books line the brightly colored ground floor restaurant/bar where the staff welcomes you; they are stationed at their laptop there. Each room is a design experience with curated furniture, lamps & wall art. The mini-wine cellars in rooms are stocked with various wines for a wine tasting experience. English-speaking upbeat staff are super helpful. I'd gladly stay there again.
