"We had our wedding reception in the bar of the hotel, and stayed overnight. The room was perfect, with a great bathtub and comfortable bed. Service was excellent, from check-in to check-out, but particularly the bar staff were really helpful and friendly throughout.
About a 5 minute walk from London Road station. Would definitely recommend."
"The hotel is nice and small, but European hotels do. The breakfast buffet is 12 pounds and 15 minutes away by taxi from the centre of the UK. Just ask the front desk for help. You can't take a bus or walk because the doorway of the hotel is a lane without pedestrians, which is very dangerous. Going back to the graduation ceremony, the hotel in the town is either fully booked or too expensive, so I set it a little farther. Not far away is the new lands corner, the scenery is super good, you can drive there in 5 minutes"
"We arrived early however the receptionist was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, we had booked a twin room as we couldn't see a double room available however the lady changed us to a double room with such ease. Hotel is very clean, room was a very good size and we even saw Deer outside our room in the morning. We used the pool area, the staff were very attentive even lending us a pound coin so we could use the lockers. Will definitely stay again if in the area."
"I recently had an exceptional stay at a hotel located in the heart of Guildford. The convenience of the location was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10. The staff provided exemplary service, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness throughout my visit. Most importantly, the room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, contributing significantly to my overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay in Guildford."
"The hotel was okay you’re joining. Restaurant was very understaffed and we decided to eat somewhere else because it was taking far too long to be served with any drink. Drinks let alone waiting for food when we spoke to the manager, he basically said it is what it is. We felt sorry for the staff who clearly stressed and overworked."
"The hotel is in a central place and very close to the bus station and not far from the Guildford Railway station (walking distance - 12 min or so). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was that we had our room on the first floor and at the further end and as there were no lifts (it is a heritage building so they cannot make any changes to the structure) we had to carry our luggage upto the first floor and navigate other steps to the room. There was no other option. We did have help when we arrived but had to carry the luggage by ourselves when we left. This is, though, a very small issue as the property itself was one of the better ones we stayed during our trip. The rooms were certainly larger room than some of the other hotel rooms I have stayed in London or Guildford."
"Absolutely amazing stay. Very safe parking, the rooms are very clean, well laid out, nice and warm, the staffs were extremely polite. I enjoyed my stay and I got to say was one of the best experience I had for a hotel stay in uk"
"Stayed here a few times, love the hidden location and friendly staff. Also the electric shower system is wonderful. Food is good too, only downside is there are only 9 parking spaces."
