We stayed over at the Marriott courtyard overnight for a hotel stay and parking for our international flight. The hotel is lovely fresh clean and modern, very Upto date in a contemporary style. We had evening dinner which was amazing, gr8’choice from the menu and it was served by lovely pleasant staff. We had soup of the day which was a very tasty lentil and ham which tasted home made it was so good 😊 then we had our main which was a fantastic burger which was absolutely delicious and amongst one of the best we’ve ever tasted and we are comparing the ones we got in New York to that! Washed down with a very nice red wine 🍷 it was the perfect dinner. When booking this hotel, the convenience to the airport was a major factor in and we will come back here time and time again, it was so good! If that wasn’t enough, our car had a flat battery on return from holiday and we asked at reception if they knew anyone who could give assistance after being up so early and having a fairly long flight, we had not envisaged this happening. Well what can I say - Martin Kooij the general manager immediately offered to help out and without hesitation he gave assistance with a jump start to our car! That is unreal service and goes above and beyond anything I’ve known. When you know a hotel as good as this one, is as helpful to lend assistance as this you know they really care about first class customer service and the experience we have had with helping us out is a credit to Martin who is a lovely amazing guy and who couldn’t be more helpful. Thanks again, we loved our stay so much here we will be recommending the hotel to all our friends colleagues and associates. Keep up the amazing five star service which I have no doubt you will!

We were surprised to be given a free upgrade on arrival which was a great start to our holiday. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower - it felt like I was under a waterfall! :) We decided to have our dinner at the hotel which was lovely. Check-out the next morning was super quick and with just a short walk across the road to the airport you could not get a better location.

We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.

I chose this hotel because it was not so far from the airport. In principle, it is not bad, I can recommend it.

I stayed here for one night with my fiancé for Green day at Bellahouston park. The staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them, the pub/restaurant deco was homely and welcoming with the bonus of a good size beer garden. Drinks were of good standard and a good variety. Good selection on the menu to suit everyone and the food was of good standard for pub grub. Service was quick and food was hot. The room faced onto the busy main road which was rather noisy but ear plugs are provided in the room. Hairdryer, shower caps, iron and full size iron board, fan, tea, coffee and biscuits were some of the facilities provided. Double bed was very comfortable, we both slept very well with our ear plugs in. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast consisted of bread to toast yourself, a mixture of cereals, yogurts, fruit, fruit juice and you can also order a full cooked breakfast, breakfast burger and a few other options that would suit most people from the menu. Service again was quick and friendly and our food was hot. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely book again.
