Excellent hotel. Love the Executive room. Very quiet

I hate to say that before our stay, I thought Holiday Inn as being fairly average and nothing to rave about, and having not stayed at this particular hotel for 10+ years, and on that occasion it was with a work Xmas party, we booked last minute just for convenience whilst visiting family over Xmas. How wrong I was!! We got absolutely 5 star service in all respects. The receptionists could not have been more friendly and helpful, likewise the gentleman who served us breakfast both mornings of our stay. I wish I had got all of their names as they were just wonderful. The hotel is clean, light & airy, quiet (especially so at the moment whilst London Road is shut for the next few weeks - bonus!!), great parking and very well located for onward travel. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, probably a new fave for us in MK and we stay quite frequently. Thank you to all your wonderful staff!!

We booked here as a half way road trip to Clacton. Ellie was so welcoming and we were even offered a free breakfast due to the room we had booked not being available due to reasons beyond their control. We had requested a ground floor due to one of us being on crutches. There is loads of parking and the hotel is a separate entrance to the main pub. Access to the pub from the hotel is good. We had a double room. Fluffy white towels and tea/coffee facilities. Large TV and black out curtains which was very welcomed as we were tired. I must say this hotel is so fresh and clean and the corridors smell delightful. Our room was cosey, spotless and the beds were so comfy. We booked with *********** and would highly recommend. The pub next door is very reasonable prices We arrived as the England match in the Euros was starting. The garden had a huge screen and appeared very popular. All staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Use the app in the bar and drinks are served to your table. Stayed here for family function and had three rooms Staff were really helpful and friendly and gave us adjoining rooms in the extension. These rooms appeared new and were in excellent condition Three minor points The hotel was very busy being half term and the staff were so busy checking in guests that service at the bar was unavoidably slow in the late afternoon The car park is quite large but the harvester opposite is so busy when we got back we had to park at the far end which if you had luggage would be inconvenient.I was able to move the car in the morning Lastly like all expresses the breakfast quality is something of a lottery.on this occasion the coffee were better than usual express standard but bacon and egg were disappointing Generally however well above average for this brand

Nice hotel convenient when I needed to be in Newport Pagnell. Good standard of stay and comfy beds - good food.

We checked in here for 1 night using Booking.com ...it cost us £55 a night for 2 people ( no breakfast as we'd read previous reviews which weren't very complimentary) we'd added to booking for an accessible room as husband disabled. We arrived at Hotel about 6pm. Plenty of parking and disabled spaces. Hotel building accessible to wheelchair users and disabled toilet in reception. No lifts. When we checked in room was on 1st floor receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and found us a room on the ground floor (room 43). The room was furthest away from reception which wouldn't be a problem for an able-bodied person but navigating suitcases and additional items needed for a person with disabilities (on a mobility scooter) through several doors was a bit awkward, but we were grateful for the ground floor room. The room was small maybe better suited for 1 person, but adequate for 1 night. Plenty of storage, TV, tea/coffee provided, no fridge, no AC but fan provided, windows open slightly, extra pillows/blanket, hairdryer, body/hair wash, bar of soap, towels provided. The bed was small (double) but a huge desk in the room which if was replaced by something smaller a larger queen/king sized bed could be fitted in. En-suite Shower with shower curtain, plenty of hot water, fixed head shower, adequate for me but totally inadequate for my husband who couldn't shower, no grab rails or shower seat. This hotel is lovely and the size of the rooms is reflected in the price. The whole hotel is absolutely spotless from reception to rooms (bed linen and towels good quality) carpets all look new, paintwork all fresh its a credit to the housekeepers. There is a large well stocked bar, with pool table, and also a cafe/restaurant which in my opinion was more aimed at catering for a student population, with a limited daily menu, (we didnt use it) again very clean. The staff we met on reception were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. Hotel is on a university campus dont follow sat nav postcode just follow the road straight round. Mitchell Hall on the left, not very well sign posted. Its in beautiful grounds and a 2 minute drive to the co-op and petrol station. We would return (but the hotel should offer accessible rooms, the room we had wasnt suitable for a wheelchair user ( we had to leave it outside the room door in the corridor) and there should be disabled bathroom facilities)

Located on the Cranfield University campus, this is an excellent, well planned, cleaned facility. I was impressed by the attention to detail. Pleasant room, with everything you could want: TV, Tea & Coffee facilities; Good WiFi, Comfortable bed, Hot & powerful shower, Luggage rack, Hairdryer, Iron & ironing boad, even a box of tissues.
