"The location and price are good, and the next day at Oldham, I went to Manchester city center to drive for 25 minutes. The hotel looks a bit old but basically hygienic. The oversized double bed is made up of two beds, which is nothing wrong in the UK, but sleeping in the middle of the bed (the two beds merge) will be a bit tired. Parking is friendly, a large number of parking spaces are completely enough for passengers, and the front desk will confirm and record the license plate number when checking in. Notably, if you are over 185 you may bump your head in the bathroom or in the room. (I bumped my head three times a day after I put my girlfriend to sleep on the higher side of the roof)"

"Budget hotel. What you see is what your get. The room looked pretty nice in fairness. Reception has vending machines and there’s access to several shops across the road. Place might look a little dated like outside the rooms and in the bathroom. I had trouble getting hot water. Seems to be a pressure issue on that particular side of the hotel. HOWEVER, the staff member on that day went above and beyond in fixing the issue. I really appreciated that. I would stay here again for that price."

"this pub/hotel is situated in a beautiful spot near Delph; there are easy to reach walks amidst the beautiful surrounding hills. Oldham is close and a bus stop is just few minutes away from the hotel. There is a light breakfast at no extra cost included in the room price. Great find"

"Brilliant stay at the Boat and Horses !! Extremely clean room , a huge cosy bed , tea , coffee , biscuits and even hot chocolate supplied each day and such lovely welcoming staff - especially Dale on reception ! Canal view family room was excellent- very roomy and no noise at all ! Restaurant attached to the hotel for a great hearty breakfast that was included in price and lunch and dinner if needed with a great selection of food !! Would I stay again - absolutely!! 10/10"
