Bar staff are always polite and friendly. Always someone in reception willing to help . However I felt bar prices were a bit steep . A draft cider and a fruit cider £10-20 ? The staff however makes the visit a nice one . Downstairs toilet smells very damp . Better toilets upstairs ,

Just had a weekend away with friends in this lovely small boutique hotel, we stayed in Friarton room, whilst our friends were in slightly bigger Oakbank (all rooms names not numbers) Both were booked as front facing superior rooms. We had a lovely new bathroom in the room and all was very clean and looked after well. We had both a delicious dinner and extensive breakfast, with plenty of local and Scottish produce. We met the chef, who came out to see the tables. If you are looking for a great, well kept, convenient and friendly place to stay in Perth then look no further. We all left saying it was a highlight of our trip. I would also recommend booking with them for dinner and breakfast.
My wife and I arrived with our friends from Ayrshire, to a great welcome to what, in all our opinions, is by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever experienced, and are likely to ever experience again. David and his partner, were excellent hosts, with a wonderfully infectious sense of humour, which turned our overnight break, into a brilliant experience. The bedrooms were sumptuous, with almost a theatrical nod to the Downton Abbey era, but were equipped with every modern convenience you could think of, and were furnished with top quality, classy furniture, which was soooo comfortable. The super king bed and bedding were high end, and the bathroom and towels was 5 star quality. But it was the overall attention to detail, and the provision of countless items of thought, which just gave our stay that absolute WOW! factor, Fresh scones with jam and cream, shortbread, freshly ground coffee, and even one of those bottle stoppers for your own Champagne or Prosecco, to protect the fizz ! Breakfast was quite simply delicious. The amazing honey and mint fruit salad, followed by a variety of freshly cooked local products and freshly baked croissants, set us up royally for the day ahead. The situation of the The Townhouse overlooks a beautiful park, and is a short walk to the centre of town and local places of interest. There is parking to the rear of the building, with access to the property. We could go on and on about our experience here, but anyone reading this just has to put The Townhouse on their bucket list when looking for accommodation in this beautiful part fo Scotland. You will be blown away !!

Apart from the central location, friendly staff and decent breakfast there is not much we can recommend. 8 of us stayed over for 2 nights with one of our party requiring an accessible room. First of all there are steps at the front door so we needed to lift the mobility vehicle up. The first day the staff knew how to work the chair lift to the 1st floor but on the second night the member of staff that was on did not know how to use it declaring he had only been there a few months and hadn't been shown how to use it. My sister asked for the control ( to which there were only about 4 buttons) and operated it for him. Drinks - do not buy at the hotel. Nearly £60 for 8 drinks then a 2 minute walk to the town and the same drinks were under half the price. Next onto the rooms. We had 4 rooms on the ground floor and each of them were really small, with around 18 inches either side of the small double bed. The bathrooms were small and not comfortable to use either the toilet or shower. Complimentary liquid soap holders were also empty. Lastly onto the biggest reason not to go back which is the creaky floorboards. Pretty much every one in the room creaked and moved and both mornings between 6am and 8am we were wakened and kept awake by the noise of the floorboards in the rooms above us. This wasn't just our room but for another 2 of the rooms as well. Not a nice experience overall, way overpriced. May have been a nice hotel in its day but is crying out for some TLC, decoration, accessibility options and those floorboards fixed.
The service of this hotel is very good. The owner even wrote a letter to the guests staying in the hotel. The hotel looks like a castle. According to the hotel staff, the hotel facilities are very historical. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat a full Scottish breakfast. The hotel parking is very convenient, just at the door. There are plenty of parking spaces, suitable for self-driving. There are no other facilities around the hotel, which is very suitable for accommodation on the way from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands.

Scone Palace
1137***66"Thank you to everyone, and thank you to everyone present, for coming to Scone Palace to attend the coronation ceremony at our invitation." I had seen this classic line in "Macbeth" before I knew Scone Palace. I only learned about this story after I came to Scotland. When I first arrived in Scotland, someone said that if you want to see Scotland, you have to start from Scone Palace, because the first king after the unification of Scotland was crowned here, and he also brought the Stone of Destiny to Moot Mountain, opening up a long river of new Scottish history. In Scone Palace, there is a full collection of the Earl's family's fine products for more than 500 years, such as Martin paint, paper-mache artworks, wall clocks, etc. Whether it is decorations or photos, each one records the glory of a family. And the entire back garden has a history of more than 400 years.
Perth Concert Hall

Perth Theatre
TTodemmyPerth Theatre It is a very famous opera house. There are many hall choices. You can see a variety of posters and propaganda. You can see that art is borderless. People from the world gather to enjoy music. It feels great.
Huntingtower Castle
TTodemmyThe card outside the castle. It turned out to be a 4 star tourist attraction in Scotland. An ancient castle to receive 4.5 pounds Huntingtower Castle (hunting tower castle), the whole building includes two well-reserved towers, there are introductions, pictures, etc. about the history of the castle, there are almost no real objects, and the interior is empty. From the picture, you can see the glory of the castle.
Balvaird Castle
TTodemmyAs a castle control, the big purpose of coming to Edinburgh is to see countless castles. This Balvaird Castle castle covers a large area. The lawn is very well maintained. The lush is very suitable for taking pictures. The castle is also very well maintained. The exquisite feeling is very suitable for tourism tasting ~.
