We arrived slightly early but only had a short wait for our rooms. We stayed in room 1 for the 2nd time. Smell of fresh paint in the hallway and room and couldn't fault the decor. Complimentary tea, coffee (including coffee machine), biscuits, crisps and water. Bed and pillows comfortable to sleep on. You can hear other guests moving around upstairs but it didn't bother us or affect our sleep. Other family members had room 21. Not the best view but who goes away to look out a window anyway? It was a twin room and sufficient. Both safest didn't work and reported to reception. Was offered to use a safe in another room but just kept valuables with us in the end. Food was good with four of us opting for the pizza deal - 2 12inch pizzas, sides and drinks for £20. Pizzas are made in a wood fire oven and tasted good. On Friday night we opted for the steak deal. £20 for steak, side, sauce and drink. The wine with the deal wasn't the best but a slight improvement here could really make the deal perfect. Staff all work very hard and are very friendly - Brian was always flying around making sure everyone was happy. Barman worked his socks off. Lily took our food order for 6 people on Friday night and everything was spot on. It was the same at breakfast. Location is great too, just a short walk to Portrush town, beaches etc. Lovely stay overall, thanks guys. See you again.

My parents, myself and our furry friend (dog) stayed here lastnight and we couldn’t recommend highly enough. The room was spotless, beautiful decor and met all our needs. Michael the owner was very attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was beautiful and the whole experience was very relaxing from start to finish. Last summer we travelled all over Ireland. One of our best experiences was staying at Brae Mar B & B. Our hosts were so accommodating, the food was excellent, and the location was outstanding, just a comfortable 10 minute walk to downtown, the train station, and the bus stop. Portrush was a spectacular destination, only a few minutes drive to the Giants Causeway and Bushmill Distillery. We can’t wait to go back and stay again at Brae Mar.

Lily took our food order for 6 people on Friday night and everything was spot on. It was the same at breakfast. Location is great too, just a short walk to Portrush town, beaches etc. Lovely stay overall, thanks guys. See you again.

GGuest UserArrived early and thankfully our room was ready to check in an hour earlier than advertised. Lovely front desk staff, easy check in. Made our way to the room (3rd floor), working lift, easy to find room. All you’d need for a nights stay, Kingside bed, clean Bathroom and bedroom. We’d paid for a sea view and it didn’t disappoint. Some items could be do with updating, however as long as the room is clean I can see past dated furniture. We’d paid for breakfast, again pleased with service. Food was lovely, good selection and helpful staff.
