There is a certain distance between the hotel and the restaurant. There is no parking lot outside the hotel. There is a parking lot at the restaurant. There is plenty of parking space. The hotel is still looking for a good location. The food in the restaurant is good. It looks like it is quite good in the local area.

Hotel is very easy to find ,located around 2 minutes from the Ardrossan South beach station . Additionally it is around a 15 minute walk to the Ardrossan Ferry terminal for the Arran boat . It was a very nice touch that the hotel had appropriate Halloween themed lighting upon arrival outside and inside for Halloween weekend . Upon check in the front desk were very welcoming and took the time to explain where everything was and take our order for breakfast . As our ferry was cancelled the next day , the staff at the hotel were very helpful and let us keep our bags in our room as the weather was atrocious and offered to let us stay in the bar/lounge area as long as we needed. Excellent service . Hotel room and all other areas were perfectly clean and in good condition . The room had a kettle and the bar was open until late . The breakfast in the morning was also fantastic . Overall a great stay before going over to Arran and would stay again.

My partner and I recently got married at this venue and can I say it was honestly the best experience we could have had. The venue is situated on such a beautiful location and we got perfect weather. The staff took the helm on the big day and relieved us of any stress, they are a total credit to the place! The rooms are top notch, we had the pleasure of staying in a standard room on the first night, we used the conjoined room for our parents and we had the Spa Suite on the night of the wedding. All of them were perfect! The Spa suite is something else! Do yourself a favour because that jacuzzi bath is the best thing ever after a night of dancing! We had our ceremony outside and the main hall for the meal and then opened up for the reception. It was done so fluently and we had no issues whatsoever. The meal was fantastic and many of my guests had said it was the best meal at a wedding they ever had and quite a few had expressed that they would be booking some nights themselves. The Waterside gets a massive thumbs up from us, great food, great location and an exemplary staff! We will be back soon and for many years to come!

Nice room comfy bed good value for money nice toom

Spent a night here with my partner, for dinner bed and breakfast. Hotel looks lovely, and the open reception bar restaurant are great and airy, with a nice atmosphere. Meals were good, but the portions at dinner could have been bigger. Service at dinner was a little slow. Breakfast was fine. Great selection and food was delicious. Reception staff pleasant through check in and check out. Hotel did have some minor points. When we checked in at 3pm on the Sunday, a housekeeping trolley was in the corridor, with empty glasses and bottles. It was still there when we checked out the next day at 10am. The corridors to the bedrooms needed a good hoover and clean, not a nice impression. In the restaurant, beside the till there was a plastic glass holder tray proper up, and underneath it was some rubbish and general dirt and dust. Clearly it had not been swept in a considerable length of time. The room was comfortable and clean, but definitely a bit dated. The bathroom tiles could have done with regrouting and the fixtures in there were dated. Toilet handle had chips around it, and lots of thick silicon seallant everywhere. In the bedroom, there was only one bedside table and no plugs beside the bed for charging phones. It was almost as if it was a twin room, made into a double given the position of the headboard and furniture. I know these are niggles, and we did enjoy our night, but if these were addressed, it would have improved the experience.

Beautiful hotel had a lovely relaxing stay. Food was lovely really nice breakfast too. Staff were very helpful and really nice. Pool area is good not to busy. Not much round about but perfect if you want a quiet relaxing time away. Would definitely recommend. Will go back again.
