Just returned from a weeks stay on our first trip to crotia, have to agree with a few of the other negative comments unfortunately. Setting of the hotel beautiful, pity about the pool setting but what can you do when its shaded, really cold water hence no one in it. Food , we were half board and could always manage to get a meal of some kind, agree about food not being very warm and not much variety over the week. Breakfasts excellent except for the Bacon. Staff in the restaurants never seemed very happy or came across as welcoming which was a shame as elsewhere in the hotel always pleasant & helpful. Rooms on the seventh floor where we were lovely view, couple of stains on the carpet but not bothered us! over bath shower difficult to get in & we are quite mobile still. Entertainment would have been good, there were singers on a few days but not for our taste, can`t please everyone but more effort for such a big hotel would draw in the residents. Buggy service excellent never waited long , not sure what it will be like in peak season. Cavtat beatiful! area around the harbour great with plenty of restaurants not a lot to do in the evening though but it was just nice to walk along the front. would certainly got to croatia again but not to this hotel. I haven`t seen any response from the hotel regarding feedback from the people who have stayed here, maybe it`s not their policy to read or comment but would be beneficial to them I think to get other peoples views.

This was the second time we are staying at this apartment. Stanka is a great host, friendly and quick in communication. The apartments are great, almost all with super sea views (the property is located on the edge of a cliff above Cavtat). It's great to relax in the swimming pool and have this amazing view on the Adriatic sea and Supetar Island. The apartments itself are modern, clean, have good beds and have all necessary facilities. We now have stayed in both the 1 bedroom apartment and penthous apartment and they are both super! Thanks Stanka for everything! Note: this time (in September) there were a lot of mosquitos in the area so bring repellent else you will be eaten by them ;-)

GGuest UserThis was the second time we are staying at this apartment. Stanka is a great host, friendly and quick in communication. The apartments are great, almost all with super sea views (the property is located on the edge of a cliff above Cavtat). It's great to relax in the swimming pool and have this amazing view on the Adriatic sea and Supetar Island. The apartments itself are modern, clean, have good beds and have all necessary facilities. We now have stayed in both the 1 bedroom apartment and penthous apartment and they are both super! Thanks Stanka for everything! Note: this time (in September) there were a lot of mosquitos in the area so bring repellent else you will be eaten by them ;-)

GGuest UserJust returned from a weeks stay on our first trip to crotia, have to agree with a few of the other negative comments unfortunately. Setting of the hotel beautiful, pity about the pool setting but what can you do when its shaded, really cold water hence no one in it. Food , we were half board and could always manage to get a meal of some kind, agree about food not being very warm and not much variety over the week. Breakfasts excellent except for the Bacon. Staff in the restaurants never seemed very happy or came across as welcoming which was a shame as elsewhere in the hotel always pleasant & helpful. Rooms on the seventh floor where we were lovely view, couple of stains on the carpet but not bothered us! over bath shower difficult to get in & we are quite mobile still. Entertainment would have been good, there were singers on a few days but not for our taste, can`t please everyone but more effort for such a big hotel would draw in the residents. Buggy service excellent never waited long , not sure what it will be like in peak season. Cavtat beatiful! area around the harbour great with plenty of restaurants not a lot to do in the evening though but it was just nice to walk along the front. would certainly got to croatia again but not to this hotel. I haven`t seen any response from the hotel regarding feedback from the people who have stayed here, maybe it`s not their policy to read or comment but would be beneficial to them I think to get other peoples views.

GGuest User Must say the hotel is in a nice spot beautiful views and the walk into Cavtat is pleasant Unfortunately for us these were the only positives. We stayed there in July which is perhaps the busiest time and a bit of an excuse for the very long food queues at mealtimes. It could also explain the used glasses and dirty plates left for hours in the corridors outside rooms. Same in the bar and not surprisingly the tables in the dining areas. Not a good look and makes the hotel appear scruffy. Our main grievance started with the room, so small we could only walk round it sideways. This was NOT the standard room advertised. No balcony which was surprising.According to jet2 rooms accommodate 2/3 people. Impossible !! Eventually relocated at a cost. Took this to their complaints dept on return but a total waste of time.. The entertainment day and night was just for french speaking. Differs again from the jet2 description. Queried with reception and was told 'no English entertainment' The manager defended this saying it was miscommunication but comments on Facebook confirm our version. We all have different opinions about food quality and I wouldn't be arrogant and question other people's opinions but for us it was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were just about OK but all other meals were poor. Half cooked bloody pork steaks one day. Too many examples to repeat. All subject to long food queues, some days just couldn't be bothered. Drinks were rubbish.. Tried various spirits with their undrinkable coke and couldn't finish one of them. Beer was sometimes ok if the pump was working properly.The soft drinks also poor. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Not a big issue but when we were checking out and looked under our bed surprised to find someone's discarded water bottle. Wonder how long it had been there? Security at the hotel was non existent. The 'private' beach is open to the public which probably explained the difficulties in getting a sunbed.. On our last nite we were woken by people in the swimming pool around 4am. We have done several AI holidays over the last year and without doubt this was by far the worst. Very disappointing.
